I remember the first time i saw"in de gloria" I was bored and went trough the cable tv channels while babysitting. I saw a scene ans the first minutes i tought it was real. The acting, the writing, the production. Just plain splendid alltough you have to be Flemish to understand in de gloria...

Well set up, good acting and nice cinematography but...

Started with very high expectations and ended satisfied but not blown away - excuse the language-. The atmosphere is good. Decors take you to Russia in 1986 but then the actors start talk English and it's a throwback to Hollywood. The scene in the atomic shelter is so overacted that it draws away attention from the story. Bingeworthy for sure but it lacks the splendour to deserve a 9 or 10.
