Black Widow (2021)

"you don't turn your back on your family."
  • Dominic Toretto

Best action movie from MCU, and no doubt on that. Good cast, good acting, catchy dialogs.

Did they changed Task Master into Deathstroke? God damn it, why even they do it?

Scarlett Johansson is absolutely stunning in this role. I was missing her like a lot. Great to see her in action again. Florence Pugh was fantastic. I love Rachel Weisz. She was perfect when she suit-up. David Harbour was funny, when he said, "Cause my girls are the toughest girls in the word", I remembered Eleven.

Overall, a treat for action movie lovers and ofcourse for MCU fans.

Dom would be overjoyed.

RESTORE THE SNYDERVERSE, WB.
18 March 2021
A DREAM COME TRUE.

Snyder Cut has everything I was hoped for since November 18th, 2017.

Besides the original storyline, it has the-

  • Better character arcs,
  • Solid pace,
  • STUNNING CGI AND VFX WORK,
  • Fun, Emotions and Intensity and even "ONE LINERS" were imapctfull.
  • NO VULGARITY.
has everything that needed in a class family entertainer.

This Batman was not weak, not even in a single dull moment. Wonder Woman was perfect, King Aquaman has his own swag BUT Barry Allen and Victor Stone have nailed it. Ezra's one of the best of the best performances. Ray Fisher's Cyborg was the best thing in the Snyder Cut. His character feels very close to my heart that emotional angle between he and his father had me. Showstealers of the film. And THE WORLD NEEDS SUPERMAN

That glimpse of Knightmare (pre-resurrection) and the main Knightmare scene (at the end) was so thrilling I'm still shivering.

Thank You Zack for the Snyder Cut.

Too much to say but keeping it short here by saying Both the villains were superb and the Bigger one was so horrifying... Warner Bros, You can't stop Darkseid now. so,

Restore The Snyderverse.

Terminator was not the only film whose sequel was better.
10 September 2020
Terminator was not the only film whose sequel was better, I loved Killer Queen more than the previous film.

So, McG is back with his satanic cult gang, with a bang. The pure sequel, good storyline, entertaining, crazier, stupid, and Jenna Ortega is so pretty that I'm in love with her.

And you guys were missing Samara Weaving right? Go watch the film.

Netflix India's Mirzapur
10 January 2020
I wrote it is Netflix India's Mirzapur, and gave 9 stars; Why?

Here is the answer -

If you like small cities crime shows, and most importantly if you watch cinema to enjoy the moments, then you can watch this because it really has some. Otherwise, if you are in the mood of comparing only, then it is simply "mirzapur 2.0"

Jamtara is ominous, dark, engaging but slow-burn, thriller based on national level frauds starts from a small city. Casting is amazing and all the actors are brilliant. Amit Sial is continuing his Inside Edge version in details. I personally liked the character played by Dibyendu Bhattacharya, to the point, grounded and very near to reality. I dont know some actors by name, but all leads, Sunny, Gudiya, Rocky (He is younger version of Sonu Sood), Anas, The two Mahabharata kids. Everyone did ver well. Very tight and good direction.

Best Action Movie of 2019
31 August 2019
Best Action Movie of 2019. or I can say one of the best action movies I have seen ever.

I had really very huge expectations from this film, because I love Keanu Reeves; I love him more as John Wick... and Chad Stahelski has done it once again.

From the library scene to Halle Berry and the dogs fight sequence (my favorite one) and the fight with the Japanese inside the Continental Hotel, every fight scene was brilliantly done. Cinematography was amazingly beautiful. The street scenes were captured very beautifully. The desert scenes were amazing.

It was nice to see many tv actors like Asia Kate Dillon (Taylor Mason from Billions), Jerome Flynn (Bronn from Game of Thrones), Robin Lord Taylor (Penguin), Jason Mantzoukas (Adrian Pimento from Brooklyn Nine-Nine) and some others too.

My Favorite moment where John Wick's enemies tell him during fight that they are honored to fight with him.

Can't wait for the next chapter.

HIGHLY IGNORABLE
1 June 2019
Casting is the only thing about this, which encourage you to start this series. It is highly predictable from the episode 1 till the end. There is nothing extraordinary, not a very brilliant acting by the lead or supporting actors and not a very well written thriller.

A very average drama, that you feel like you've already watched somewhere. HIGHLY IGNORABLE.

Welcome to the Fan Service. How can I please you Sir/Mam?
25 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
One of the best (if not the best) final acts in superhero movies. Russo Bros did it very brilliantly. "Captain America is Worthy" scene is one of the best CBM moments of all time. Full marks for that. The final war scene, the digital cinematography, the colors look so beautiful and expensive.

Tony Stark/Iron Man is one true hero and leader 'not actually, but you'll see and feel' in the MCU since 2008. Robert Downey Jr. was outstanding in the Endgame. He deserves all the popularity and respect from the fans. His every scene was good. Captain America comes at number 2. He looks tensed through-out the movie, so does Black Widow, as we all know he knows his responsibilities. He is the man of honor. Clint Barton/Hawkeye/Ronin comes at number 3. Somehow sometimes I found The Ant-Man's character very serious here. Paul Rudd was amazing as Scott Lang. Spider-Man was so powerful and impressive in his very limited role. The Hulk taking Time stone, Clint and Nat's Vormir visit, Tony met his father again, Captain vs Captain, Cap/Tony/Thor fighting Thanos scenes were mind-blowing.

The characters disappointed me, are-

Captain Marvel. I seriously believe that Russo Bros can make Endgame without her. Never felt her worth in this film. Not in a single scene. Well, They could use Pepper Potts to 'rescue' Tony Stark. Also when she makes an appearance in the final battle, was also useless, we realize that later. Thor. Thor is a comedian after Ragnarok. I don't know why they did this to him, what's wrong with the "fun-loving" studio; although Thor has some very good action scenes, just action scenes. Hulk. They ruined the Professor Hulk for me. The arc was missing even he had a very big role though. But he was just another comedian. Black Panther. His one scene was good from his very limited role. I feel that only Russo did justice to his powers as we saw him in Civil War and Infinity War and now this.

The characters I wanted to see more, are- Thanos. He impressed again in the fight scenes and that dialogue before the battle. Pepper Potts in the Iron suit. Spider-Man. Loki. Nick Fury at the end.

Things I didn't like- This is not how Time-Travel works. They showed it like it is just a children's game. I expected more for Tony's rescue scene, It was pretty disappointing for me. Some scenes in the 1st act looked stretched and unnecessary. Tony Stark's death could have been more emotional, I felt that scene where he hugs Spider-Man was better than Pepper talking him for the last time. I am a very emotional person but haven't felt much emotion in that scene. I didn't like the 'after battle scenes' or you can say 'the conclusion scenes' except "The New Captain America" scene, that was so powerful and emotional. Captain-Peggy scene could have been better, as the fan-theory says.

Well, concluding my view on Endgame by saying "Go and watch it on the biggest screen possible". That's it.

The King Has Risen.
14 December 2018
James Wan adds fiery passion to the DCEU, while pushing the limits of the genre to deliver a film that's nothing less than a spectacle. It's not only has the DCEU's heart, it brings a natural swag to the table which alone makes the movie worth a second watch, if not more. You get swooping single-shots, you get terrific action sequences, and if that's not enough, a plunge into good old horror. What more does one need from a single movie?

Damn that crab was bigger than Surtr.

STOP STUDIO WAR AND WATCH THIS GEM
8 December 2018
Incredible. Visually its amazing. Storyline, Acting, Voice-over and Direction amazing. Some shots look very real. I enjoyed the Background Music very much, Most of it is Indian style, the flute music was amazing.

Looking forward if it's sequel is possible. This movie deserved the big screen, but, anyways big thanks to Netflix. Andy Serkis is brilliant as a director.

If I compare it with The Jungle Book, I find Mowgli Legend of the Jungle is -

Darker (of course) Better Storyline Visually Better Better Acting Better voice-overs Better Action sequences It engages me more than that one.

A German MASTERPIECE
5 December 2017
Start to end the opening-credits, BGM, soundtracks, environment- setting, story, characters, sci-fi elements everything is f*ing great especially the cinematography.

Baran bo Odar and Nikolaus Summerer deserve all the appreciation for another great visual experience after Who Am I and The Silence.

I think I can call it "a MASTERPIECE". If you like dark shows, this one is even DARKER.
