Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
Hard watch
If your a Marvel fan you will big this film up.
Realistically the storyline was no existent.
Acting was below par.
They threw money at a project which guaranteed a return.
But the film expectations are at a such higher rate now after films such as Endgame, Deadpool, Guardians of the Galaxy and the Disney TV series even feel better thought out then this garbage.
Qismat 2 (2021)
Not Everyone's Cup Of Tea
A film that encourages stalking and not giving up on your first love.
This was a desperate attempt to capitalise on the success on the first film but was hard to watch with the lame editing and time shifts.
A film which would have made more sense if they had focused more on Kabil's life as well but totally ignored him.
They encouraged laughing at people's death and continued flashback to enforce its timeline which again made little sense.
It was close to domestic abuse storyline if anything if you out this in to context and reflect on what you just watched but I rate it as a 6 for the small glimmers if produced and teh other films I have watched I can compare it to and know it can be much much worse.
Qismat (2018)
About time a Punjabi Film took this route
Absolutely wonderful movie from start to finish.
All songs are amazings and will have you listening for years. The ending is unexpected from Punjabi cinemas but what is needed and completes the film. The film is timeless.
Sufna (2020)
Masterpiece
Acting was great.
Music was great.
Anny Virk appears to only sign up to decent films except sequels. Not as amazing as Qismat but set in a different time period and supported by a great cast. Tania Sharma outshines everyone in this movie with her character and brilliant acting. The movie will have you go through a range of emotions.
Nikka Zaildar 3 (2019)
Decent laughs
Some good jokes through the film.
Acting is well, cast is solid.
The script is poor.
No great soundtracks.
The film will not age well.
There was no point of naming this a sequel.
Punjabi cinema far too often tries to make money off sequels with no continuation of storylines and this is another on of those films.
Teri Meri Jodi (2019)
Terrible
Tries to draw people in with advertising Sidhu Moosewala whose appearance last 5 minutes.
The acting in the film overall is poor.
Plot is poor.
Timelines are all over the place.
I watch all types of films but can't believe I sat through the whole of this film only for the end to say it will been continued in a further part.
Several people in the cinema saw sense to get up and walk out earlier others were laughing as they got out at how poor the film was.
