Absentia (2017)
Season 1 Was Enough
First few episodes of season 1 were good, then every thing seemed perfectly convenient. Finding one important tree in a forest at night that you've not been to since you were a kid and digging next to it with a stick to find a conveniently placed skeleton. An open lorry with a phone unlocked in it. A laptop with no password protection that conveniently comes to life with a chat while conveniently finding hidden files. Finding a conveniently open car and hot wiring it. All became too ridiculous for me to carry on watching.
Ozark: A Hard Way to Go (2022)
Last Episode a Let Down
A great series and well worth a watch, but very very much let down by the finale. A real shame. Maybe the writers just got bored and couldn't be bothered to carry on.
Ghost Wars (2017)
13 Episodes of drivel.
Written and directed by 10 year olds. Acting is appalling. How the actors will get any more work after this is beyond me. I actually feel sorry that they needed the work so bad.
The Tinder Swindler (2022)
Greedy People!
I sat laughing for the duration of this. Golddiggers united and an a-hole taking advantage of their greed and stupidity. No sympathy for them. They've told their stories and now look stupid.
The Man (2019)
Dreadful.
Obviously written by someone who's never worked in an office or in a team and never presented to a new client. Who walks straight into work and straight into an important meeting? Changing the time on someone's phone and tablet to hijack a meeting? Really? Completely unbelievable plot. Let's try and write about the real world!
