Grey's Anatomy: No Time to Die (2021)
Horrible ESG, Trans, They agenda
From the awesome drama series which started 18 seasons ago, this has become a mouthpiece for all the injustices from our daily life.
It's about inequality, they, trans, gays and inclusion .. like you are watching media news.
Owen from a solid medical army doctor becomes the father of a boy who likes to dress like a girl and is named Elsa ??
Then Amelia is sending the most idiot message to all the single moms, abandoned families and confused girls: after finding a perfect, loving man .. her weak character can't accept a marriage proposal.
It just hurt the brain to watch this, even Meredith is only appearing as a diva to say three lines, spotless dressed and holier than anyone, she can do no wrong.
This season is the proof that since Derek left, things went south.
Killing Eve (2018)
This is hard to watch ..
I had high hopes about the series, purely because Sandra Oh was playing in it.
The filming is nice, the plot is intriguing but the script seems written by toddlers who "imagine" how a thriller should be.
I forced myself to see two episodes but it's simply a waste of time and energy. The characters are so poorly developed and there is absolutely no emotion given by any of the scenes.
The killer is a psychopath who is able to plan to perfection every move, not leave any trace and get in and out like a cat in every situation.. Not even the biggest secret spy, James Bond can't do such thing and he has a team behind him too ..
Then in Berlin they go to Friedrichstrasse S Bahn (train) and arrive to Weberwiese (subway) station.
With the amount of brilliant young writers (especially in Berlin) to come up with such a poor script is a feature.
I do wonder why it gets such a high popularity and why is Jodie Comer so praised, if you get the role of an almighty psychopath who just does anything uninterrupted how can this be good acting?
I see people disappointed in Season 4 .. what can could top the horrible Season 1, beats me ..
On top of that, some executives from BBC America signed on this, seriously? Have they ever seen a good show in their life?
If you did read up to this point, make yourself a favor and watch this at your own risk, you have been warned.
Clarkson's Farm (2021)
Premium entertainment with the good old Jeeza
Of course J. K. is a controversial character and you either love him (I do) or hate him.
The BBC git rid of him in a very ungentelmanly way and then Amazon landed a gold mine with the trio.
I watched the Farm in two days and it left me wanting more, it is brilliant, unscripted and raw.
It shows to the viewers that sometimes having a glass of wine with your loved one and watching the sunset is all you need.
The farming work for 144GBP profit (before tax) is obviously not his main income, a beginner with not so many finances would just give up.
Too bad only 3 seasons will be made, this is a genius production and Prime Video is letting it slip through its fingers.
I bet thar BBC cried their eyes out seeing how Top Gear went down in popularity after their "ethical" decision. Prime will do the same, and for what .. for the "Worldwide Privacy Tour" topic?
Emily in Paris (2020)
If you value your time, avoid like the plague
I heard about this series from my mother who liked the airy, lightness of the first season, where "everything goes as desired".
Then I tried to watch it myself and I wish I hadn´t spent the hours seeing the third season, if you value your short time on this planet, avoid the third season and better take a walk.
The first two seasons were filmed nicely, even if the script was full of clichés and the characters have 0 personality, apart from shocking style and the barbie doll Gabriel chef which has no acting skills but only looks.
In the third season, the video processing is horrible, basically you can´t see Alfie in the dark at all (no racism here, try an episode and then you will know what I mean) and the quality filming from the first two seasons is missing.
Sylvie is of course a very sensual woman for her age (and for any age) but I do find it forced that she is half naked in half the season and Mindy is dressing like she is out of a manga low budget magazine.
This series is so bad, that Netflix should sue the producer to get their money back.
The only realistic characters with a bit of artistic value are Alfie and Antoine, all others are just forced, cringy and forgettable.
The Gray Man (2022)
Unlimited Netflix budget will not save a bad script
If you are drunk and do not know what to watch to entertain you while falling asleep, this long and uninspired movie will do just that for you.
After watching this I realized that I have to cancel my Netflix subscription asap, they are not using the money taken from us well and even if you stack a movie with A List actors, a bad script will not be saved.
The cinematics are good, the few lines Gosling has are decent but it is outrageously unrealistic and just makes you wonder if you will ever get your two hours back.
I would love to unsee this and still keep Evans as Capt. America in my memory, but his poor acting in this movie deleted the great performances from the past.
I would watch it after 4-6 beers to make me fall asleep, but sober and with good intentions, this is unwatchable. I do hope others will find it better, otherwise is a waste of $$ from Netflix´s part.
Don't Look Up (2021)
All possible to do in one hour, with less A Stars
When I saw the Thumbnail I was ready to be amazed by the touch of so many A Star actors all in one movie, but I was wrong.
I understand that even if you have wonderful actors, they cannot save a bad script and with all the political satire which could simply have been done in 1h 10min tops, it does not justify the waste of time to wait until it gets better - because it doesn´t.
The characters have no character, the plot is simplistic .. I think it was in Cosmos with Neil DeGrasse where he said that with our current ways to detect an asteroid, we would know 48h tops before it hits the Earth.
I wish I could get the two hours back, even if I am a big fan of JLaw and all the actors did great roles before, watching this release left me with a bad taste. A friend for the end of the world has the same plot-ish but it´s so well done and pleasant that is actually a joy to watch.
Friends: The Reunion (2021)
I paid to see it and regret every spent cent.
When I saw the title "Reunion" I expected a follow-up episode after 20 years with them playing an episode but also with close up interviews with the cast.
Like other said, I found various people from Africa telling me how they watched friends, cheers to them for the joy but do I need to pay to see how some random people are happy with friends ?
Then the back and forth scenes made for me not much sense, the game they played, the memories and so on were fun. The presenter was as fake as fake can be and I skipped many parts, including the Gaga smelly cat song or fashion show by stars, what on Earth were these guys thinking when planning the show.
I am sorry to say, but this for me was a total flop .. how can you get the cast of Friends together and make a flop, is beyond my understanding.
Zodiac (2007)
Very good drama with some flaws
Overall the movie is really nicely done and the actors are doing a great job in creating the mystery. I got to see the movie due to some reviews like "underrated movies" so decided to give it a try.
The story of the Zodiac was new to me, I never knew how it happened back then so I got excited to see the story unfolding. What disturbed me very much are the lake scenes where the couple is stabbed, I mean they could have used a different angle to show the horror, and not make a full frame snuff like with the two getting stabbed to death.
Overall I enjoyed watching the movie but those killing scenes were horrible and they totally ruined my experience.
Fucking Berlin (2016)
Underrated on IMDB but very good
First of all, this is a movie full of drama and in the story is well integrated in the script. The actress is young and sonehow naïve and that can be seen in her life's journey. I like it's raw, cold picturing of how quick a wrong decision can change one's life. The cinematics with the beautiful Berlin, the good acting and the drama make a good mix.
The Bourne Legacy (2012)
Skyfall better than this ?
I started to see this movie not because of the IMDb scoring but for the trailer, which was interesting.
The action was quite good, I had many moments of joy watching the movie and the story lines up good.
If this is a movie on IMDb under 7 and Skyfall with the worst screenplay ever for James Bond is over 8, I start do doubt the scoring.
The actors got in their roles well and the action was good balanced, I found the scene with the motorbikes quite boring because was too long and as a constant rider I could tell that normally one cannot do all that.
I really give my whole 10 points to this .. and I am not an easy giver.
Superbad (2007)
Why this movie has almost 8 ?
Come on guys, i really like movies with jokes and strange characters but this is so lame. The curly fat guy has only porn talking lines, from 4 words 3 are with genitals .. and that must be funny? I don't get how this "loose virginity before College" works in the USA but in Europe is not such a big story to make movies about. And the policemen .. those guys make good movies in the rest, i just wonder how can they agreed to participate at this lame story lame character movie. The only good thing in the movie is Jane, a pretty girl with a strong recordable voice .. but the rest, it does not worth loosing your 2 hours from life unless you was frustrated in childhood and wanna laugh about it.
PS. Before this i have seen "Take him to the Greek" and maybe i had better expectations about "Superbad"
