Misfit
19 March 2018
The movie itself was very well directed and acting was great as well, but the misfit between Margot Robbie and the real Tonya Harding was so obvious, that the movie just came out as a joke. I love Margot Robbie, she is an exceptional actress, but this role just didn't fit her at all and she actually made Tonya Harding look beautiful next to her. I don't know what the hell were they thinking hiring this sexy, mature and beautiful woman to play a teenager, they certainly didn't fool me, they made me laugh the whole movie, Margot looked older not only than the teenage Tonya, but herself as well, the real Tonya Harding had a certain innocence about her that no 30 year old actress can fake, I mean her face was out there 24/7 so we all know what she looked and acted like, so when Margot is hopping around as a 15 year old with braces, it kind of changes the mood of the movie into a comedy. It was such a disappointment because I liked Margot in other movies and I'm kind of turned of right now. I know there is a lot of great 16 year old actresses who could portray Tonya Harding more realistically, so why Margot? The acting just doesn't matter that much anymore if you misfit the look, the age, the character, the whole persona. Everybody else was great so I don't understand why did they have to ruin this movie this way. Tonya Harding carries the whole movie so why to make it so ridiculous, I still gave it 4 stars because everything else was spot on, acted well and directed well considering that the actual story could have made this movie cheap looking, but the director managed to give it a certain style, that deserved to be nominated.

Very well done and entertaining
26 December 2014
I don't get it. This was the best movie I've seen in a long time. I almost didn't rent it thanks to the bad reviews. But after watching this movie I realized where the bad reviews are coming from. This is not a documentary, it's a movie. It's meant to entertain and if some people take it personally, it's mostly because they don't believe in God because they are afraid they'll go to hell and their life would be just easier not to believe in anything. And this movie will be offensive to them since it will ad to their doubt that there might be some higher power judging them one day. People didn't judge "Ghost" years ago, because there wasn't such an anti religious movement back then. Just take away all the prejudice and enjoy the movie. I was glued to the screen until the end. And Nicholas Cage did a great job acting, I just don't understand when people don't like the subject of the movie they must judge the actors in a negative way as well just because they have different beliefs. Nicholas Cage fit the role perfectly and I think that the director Vic Armstrong did a marvelous job with this movie. I hope my daughter will have the privilege to be in one of his movies one day. This could have been a potentially disastrous movie if it wouldn't be for this director's art and courage. The other actors were also wonderful. I personally think the acting was superb with the exception of one or two supporting actors maybe. But without giving the story away, even if I think I would be one of those left behind but I'm not going to doom this movie and give it a bad rating. Some reviewers mention low budget? Are you serious? What planet did they come from? I've seen tons of low budget movies on Netflix, this movie has definitely beaten tons of high budget special effects overloaded movies for me.

Beautiful family movie
19 May 2014
Very entertaining movie for the whole family, finally a movie you can watch with your kids. Beautifully directed, gorgeous picture, adorable little tiger hero. This is a movie the kids will watch over and over. Sweet little moments, great soundtrack, very cute cast. We've been waiting for a kids movie like that for a long time, that is real, honest with no monsters or some kind of magical elements in it, something the kids can relate to, there is only a handful of movies like that out there, but not enough to watch every weekend with your kids, so thank you A Tiger's Tail for coming up with this movie before my kids become teenagers and get hooked on vampire movies. The kids need to know and learn the value of real stories on screen, so we the parents can feel that there is some kind of educational value to watching TV.
