Raised by Wolves (2020)
Started great and lost me
Season 1 was a real treat until they came up with what has to be the dumbest season finalee ive ever seen with the 2 androids flying their space whistle through the planets molten core and coming out the other side in one piece followed by them jumping out of their ship as its crash landing in such a way that reminded me of an an episode i saw as a child on loony tunes. Season 2 continues to fall flat for me, and im usually pretty forgiving when it comes to scifi. Feels disjointed and poorly written, not to mention the flying serpent just looks ridiculas. 5 stars for the 1st 9 good episodes.
The Power of the Dog (2021)
Nice production, good acting and really boring
Me and my wife got about half way through this and mutually decided we could not continue this snooze fest. Beautiful set and production but that's about all it offers unless you like watching a rich cowboy act like a jerk. I hear the end is good but I'd rather watch something that is good all the way through.
Nine Perfect Strangers (2021)
I fell asleep on episode 2.
So did my wife. I turned it off and suggested she go to bed. This show literally put us to sleep. Oh, these people who go to some hokey wellness resort run by a lady with a bad Russian accent and too much botox and act like idiots. That's about all I got out of it so far.
The One I Love (2014)
Can't believe I sat through this.
I stumbled across this dud after doing a search for best streaming sci-fi movies, hoping to find a lost gem I have overlooked. Now I see why it was overlooked.
The Midnight Sky (2020)
Good slow burn scifi
I cannot get my head around the reviews and ratings here. I come across total garbage with an 8 plus score and rave user reviews (Wentworth for example) and then something like this with a 5 brought to you by viewers that clearly suffer from attention deficit disorder claiming this has no story and no point. This movie has a great story, a point, great production and acting. If you can appreciate science fiction without spaceships flying like they are in an atmosphere shooting lasers at each other you might want to give this a watch. Recommended.
Wentworth (2013)
Garbage
After reading the rave reviews I decided this must be something special. About half way in my wife and I looked at each other and laughed. The cheese factor, terrible acting and unbelievable setting and circumstances is beyond calculation. Thay so many people think this is good TV makes me question the fate of mankind.

Comedy labodomy
Tried watching the first episode and concluded we as a species are way too easy to entertain if this can pull an 8 plus rating. Me and my wife looked at each other about half way through, eyes perma rolled in the back of our heads and hit the stop button.
The Man in the High Castle: Fire from the Gods (2019)
Worst ending ever.
I was going to recommend this to friends, then the ending happened. Thanks for nothing.
Lost in Space (2018)
Want to like it.
Great production and a great over all story from a high level, however plagued by weak scripts, bad science and things that make absolutely no sense. Example season 2...an ocean that has a giant alien trench in the middle of it. Water is level on both sides but doesn't fill up. 2 characters plummet 30 feet down into the trench and are not injured. Eels eat all their fuel so they fix that by substituting with alien poop....comon... still watching though, lol.
Watchmen (2019)
Quality Show
I suspect every negative review here is from the butthurt snowflake MAGA cult. A war on racism..omg so woke and liberal. Go back to fox news and stop screwing up ratings.
American Horror Story: The End (2018)
Another hokey season
After season 1 and 2 this show just dived. I was hopeful with the episode, then they bring in the witches and warlocks..... again. Tip to the writers... that's not scary.
Life (2017)
Ignore the bad reviews
I put off watching this for a long time because of the bad reviews. Decided to give it a shot and loved it. If you want to pick it apart it has a few scenes that are questionable, but overall a solid movie.
In the Dark (2019)
Ok if desperate for something to watch
Main character, Murphy has her moments but is overall obnoxious and unlikable. Occassionally the story will shift to what I am assuming is her roommate who is given zero introduction or background and they want the viewer to care about her love affair, which the viewer cannot possibly be vested in or care. Not terrible, some funny moments, but lazy writing and just not that interesting. Her dog is cute though.
Game of Thrones: The Bells (2019)
Epic Episode.
I don't under stand the low scores at all. I think many hate that Dany showed what what a ruthless ego maniac she really is, which was apparent long ago. Loved everything about it, especially the Sandor Mountain fight.
