Extremly boring and predictable

I think this was recommended by americans that automatically assume a foreign film with subtitles is intelligent and artistic. It's not. In the first 10 minutes I caught the "big" twist. Kept waiting for something creepy to happen. Waste of my evening.

Don't understand al the 8-10 stars reviews

Honestly don't understand what's up with all the great reviews. Are they paid?

I got bored halfway through. The characters were nothing special. Clischeic situations galore. You knew what was going to happen around every corner.

There is one reveal that I liked, but that was it.

I would say all in all 3,6- not great, not terrible.

I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Maybe I liked this movie because I went in without any expectations. I am a huge fan of zombie movies, but not of Arnold Schwarzenegger. When I first heard about the movie I thought it would be great right until I learned that Arnold will play her father. I expected to see a sort of old Terminator 'terminating' zombies. I could not have been further from the truth. This movie managed to show an incredibly emotional side to the zombie scenario. Zombies are always the bad guys and they are on screen only to be killed or to kill. In this one you see that there is more to it, not everything is in black and white and you start to fill bad for them. I loved Abigail Breslin in Signs and in Little Miss Sunshine, she was hilarious and clearly extremely talented. So I was eager to see her all grown up. She was disappointing; not at all genuine. She didn't manage to portray any emotion whatsoever. Luckily everyone around her manged to carry her and you can almost miss it if you focus on the music and the story. You won't like this movie if you expect a classic zombie movie, it's emotional and more about normal people dealing with abnormal situations. Perhaps, The Last Of Us opened a new road for zombie stories.
