The Watcher: Someone to Watch Over Me (2022)
The daughter!
This was a good but very frustrating episode. I couldn't believe the husband was chastised for smashing the daughter's phone. That kid is an entitled and annoying character. They should show more of the son.
Mia Farrow does a great job at making her character unlikeable and I wish they hadn't killed off Margot Martindale's character so early!!
I love the storyline and can't wait to find out who the watcher is!
I can't help but feel like the realtor friend is a jerk because she is obsessed with selling the house if they choose to list it again. She's not a very good friend.
I think more people are in on this than just the watcher.
The Morning Show: Confirmations (2021)
Great episode, but $hitty ending
Great acting and very emotional episode. I found the direction they took when reporting the death very distasteful and unrealistic, though. Everyone knew what they had done so to use their death as a platform to continue chastising them was silly.
The Morning Show: La Amara Vita (2021)
Steve C is amazing
I had a feeling he was entertaining the idea of harming himself which I totally get. How hard would it be to be known worldwide and shamed, ostracized and canceled? I feel for him.
The Lie (2018)
Not a believable film
This is one of those movies that makes you repeatedly think 'What the hell?' Like the girl running away from the father. She gets away then starts waking down the residential street one block away. Who the hell goes one block away and then out into the open?? And who walks down the middle of the street? I can honestly say that I have never walked down the middle of any street. Then when she sees the car behind her coming fast she starts running while staying in the street. Wtf?? That's this movie in a nutshell. Ridiculous scenarios that are just not believable.
Stateless (2020)
To all saying it is inaccurate...
How do all of you know it is inaccurate? I found it Interesting. At least I am capable of admitting that I have no clue whether or not it is accurate. I enjoyed the acting and know that it is quite possible that many of these 'camps' have guards that mistreat people. But that's beside the point. Since when does a series have to be factual?
