The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
This so happens to be my favourite film of all time :)
Lord of the Rings is simply amazing. I love everything about it, and never tire of watching it. Maybe i'm just sad? Who knows. But it really irritates me when people say things like "this was soo boring and nothing happened! the ending was so crap!" or whatever. Some of them don't even seem to realise it's part of a trilogy.
And how people can say there is no development of the character's relationships is absurd. Fair enough if you find it somewhat confusing, i suppose there are lots of names and places to remember. But it's obvious the characters have connections. In my opinion, if you want to understand it, you will. It makes me sad when people won't even give it a chance. But then i think, oh well - it's your loss.
I could go on about how simply outstanding this film is, but i wont, don't worry. Many people can tell you that. I just wanted to voice my opinion...slightly. In conclusion - watch the fellowship, and the rest of the trilogy. There is nothing more amazing.
Saw (2004)
Ooh i like
I really enjoyed this film! I hope that doesn't make me sound crazy, as it is quite a freaky film. But i thought it was well filmed, good acting and a good idea.
Not many films scare me, especially ones with frantic stabbing and bloodyness, so i thought this film would be mostly blood and stuff...but it was so good, it was really twisted and it psychologically messes with you..as well as some of the blood lol
And i must say, that white mask thing with the red circles on its cheeks scared me so bad!! Lol, every time it came on the screen i winced...eww creepy. It specially scared me when it came out of the darkness, after that girl got the key outta the man's body to save herself. Lord that was scary. Yes and the ending is fabulous! Watch this film! Unless you get scared easily..or don't like weird, creepy things...
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
The Best Trilogy in the entire world...EVER
It is quite hard to explain in words how i feel about this movie, plus the other 2. All three are just beautiful, fantastic films and i love them all to death. In 2001, when i first heard they were going to do these movies, i wasn't that interested - as fantasy type films didn't really interest me, but the first time i saw that advert for the fellowship of the ring - i was gripped! I couldn't wait to go and see it in the cinema! And when i did, i couldn't wait until the the two towers..and the same for the return of the king!! The whole film is just amazing! The sets, costumes, music, directing and of course acting is just so wonderfully good! God i love it. I love love love the films. It also helps as i love Elijah Wood..who is just perfect for the part of Frodo, and i love Liv Tyler who is so beautiful - just like an elf! And i love Sir Ian McKellen...a great actor..ahh so much love! Strangely, i watched the 3rd one last night..and i love it. Heh heh. I have a friend who doesn't like them and finds them boring - HOW?! I really don't know! Anywho, i can assure you, these films are so fabulous, they seem so real, when watching them i almost believe Middle Earth is a real place! It is just such a marvellous achievement; to make a film quite bizarre seem so incredibly real! This might sound really crazy...but i am so sad its all over..i want to be a part of it! I LOVE IT! I'm not crazy. Just a big fan.(watch them all they rock) :) Good day
The Blair Witch Project (1999)
Person standing in corner of room, at end
I really enjoyed this film, as i personally prefer films which mess with you psychological, and i think the acting is brilliant, very realistic! I mean by the way they react to different situations, they seem genuinely scared, and the way they shout at each other when mad and freak out and stuff- tres good.
I also liked the way the actors were unknown..it kinda makes it more believable and scary...because if it was..i dunno...Naomi watts..i wouldn't be able to really believe it.
But i am a little confused with what happens at the end, with the person in the corner of the room - i've heard that it's josh...and i've heard it's mike ... but I'm still not sure!
Is it mike, about to be killed? or is it..josh who has been "possessed" or something...? and is he floating? I heard that too.. or is it none of those and something very different! Please inform if u know!
