The acting is noticeably subpar, the story is predictable and the script very immature. Feels like a B movie. People only rate this so high because they agree with the sentiment of the film, a charge against UK bureaucracy.

Throughout the movie there were many times where I thought the movie could have peacefully ended. The deep conversations made it feel like it was real, but also made the experience more like reading a book than watching a movie.

They kept the movie short but long enough to build a story and tension. Main character doesn't make a ton of dumb mistakes which is what you usually see in these type of movies.

The first act pulls you in but when you realize the rest of the movie is more of the same and you're not getting answers you just want the main character to die. At some points the movie tries too hard to be intellectual it was somewhat off putting
