The Tax Collector (2020)
Throwing the baby out with the bath water
Shia LaBeouf was ways always going to be the major draw for the film, and trailers paint it as such. He even got a giant full chest tattoo for the role. All to get his head stomped in halfway through the film and we never seen even a tiny bit of this bad ass he is built up to be.
To put it lightly, I would give it a zero if I could because it is that terrible of a movie.
Midway (2019)
Good war film with a star studded cast
From top to bottom its a fantastic film on a great portion of the war. They, along with historians, dont oversrate how pivotal Midway was for the Pacific theatre and WWII in general. The cast is absolutely stacked and not one of them is there to steal the show, everyone is pushing the story forward and making it an excellent overall picture.
On a side note the CGI is stunning in this, it feels like you're seeing a documentary but in high definition.
If you like war films or the greatest generation, its a must watch.
Hyperdrive (2019)
A bit cringy at times for avid gearheads
But the unique cars and drivers personalities make it 100% binge-worthy. The small details like the other drivers there cheering everyone on really reinforces motorsports is family. If you like cars at all, you'll love the show without a doubt
The Gymkhana Files (2018)
Must for car/cinema fans
Even if you dont have a deep passion for cars, you can still nerd out on all the behind the scenes work. I loved every episode and Gym 10 was excellent.
