I really enjoyed the series of Anne+ and the movie has a very similar style, content and humour. Anne feels very relatable, the acting is good and I laughed out loud quite a few times. It shows sexuality in a very natural way and discusses generational differences on certain topics as gender identity. Al in all, I really enjoyed this movie!

Quite good a modern teen drama

Let me start by saying I am probably not the target audience as a non-American woman in her early 30s. I was expecting some mediocre teen drama as Netflix is getting (in)famous for, but this show is a lot better than the average show on this streaming service. Although I am expecting a lot of backlash on this series because it deals with racism and the cast is very diverse, I don't think that's fair.
The characters seem very realistic and the issues that are portrayed seem in touch with what it is like to be a teenager right now. Some topics are handled a bit too superficially, but I guess we can't have it all. Hopefully Netflix gives us a second season to answer some of the questions left after the finale.

Interesting, but incomplete

As I'm not from the US, this story was completely unknown to me. However, it has been in the top 10 viewed on Netflix in the Netherlands for a few days now, so I decided to give it a go.
The fact that there is so much footage to piece together their lives in the last few days is mind-boggling to me, but this makes the documentary interesting to watch as well since everything is real and not subjective from interviews with relatives or something. Shanann didn't come off as very likable to me, although this of course does not excuse Chris' behaviour in any way. I'm curious if he never gave a better explanation for why he did what he did. Ending the documentary by saying it's mostly men who harm their families is a bit too easy, I had a feeling that his girlfriend was not as innocent as she was portrayed.
All in all an interesting watch, but I feel bits and pieces are missing whether this is done on purpose or because simply not everything can be known about peoples lives unless you're living them.

First I had this movie on tape and watched it over and over again, after some time I bought the DVD and now I'm still not bored. The story isn't very complicated, but it doesn't need to be, because it's a sit-back-and-have-fun romantic comedy. Cameron is in love with Bianca, but her dad has a rule about dating: no dating till you graduate. Later on he rewrites it to: Bianca can date if Katherina (her sister) dates.The only problem is: Kat is "a bit" antisocial. After a while Cameronand his friend Michael find the perfect date for Kat: Patrick. They say he ate a duck when it was alive, he was in prison, sold his liver and stuff like that. But because Cameron and Michael know Patrick won't listen if they say: "hi, you have to date Kat!", they approach Joey,the most popular guy in school, who wants Bianca too, just as a toy.Michael says it's a win-win situation: he gets to date Bianca and Michael is cool by association (If Joey says hi to Michael in the hallor something). Joey talks to Patrick, gives him money for a date. Now Cameron can try to seduce Bianca, but off course also something happensbetween Kat and Patrick. I'm not gonna say how it ends, but I think you already guessed it.
The story is cool, it's written by Shakspeare (Taming the shrew). I think Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles are great actors and the music is fun too (Letters to Cleo, Save Ferris). My message is: Watch '10 things' and you'll have a great time!

I would like to say something about the movie, cause that's what this thing is for, remember? I understand that it's very disappointing when the movie is different from the book you've read. I think the movie was lovely, I haven't read the book, maybe that's better. I would just like to say that if you think a book is wonderful DON'T WATCH THE MOVIE. I think it's good that they've changed the story, so that it's still fun to watch. I don't know if you've ever read the Harry Potter books and watched the movie, but they are very different, but that's the nice thing about it. It has to be interesting. This is what I wanted to say, everybody please shut up about "the book is way better" and so on!
