Great story line that reflects the society norm
The story revolves around a group of journalists who go all out to undiscovered the hidden truth behind society news and find their stand in the media industry. Which reflects greatly on the current situations happening in the current society. Being fearless and the determination to find out the truth behind everything. And also the plot twists makes the story line very exciting and worthy to watch. It kept me captivated throughout the whole movie and I love how each of the character in the movie brings out the reality and relatability. And I highly recommend this movie, if you like such genre, you have to watch it!
Lost in the Pacific (2016)
Impressive visuals and solid performances, but is let down by its confusing plot and lack of character development.
The film follows the ill-fated journey of the luxury airliner "Skyfort 2" as it crashes on a deserted island in the Pacific Ocean. Despite its visually appealing production design and solid performances from the cast, the movie falls short due to its confusing plot and lack of character development.
The film's visual effects and production design are commendable, creating a sleek and futuristic look for the airliner and capturing the beauty of the island setting. The special effects used to depict the plane crash and action sequences add excitement to the film. Additionally, the performances by actors like Brandon Routh, Yuqi Zhang, and Russell Wong are noteworthy, with Routh carrying the film with his portrayal of the captain.
However, "Lost in the Pacific" struggles with its storytelling and screenplay. The plot becomes convoluted and confusing as the film progresses, lacking coherence and making it difficult for viewers to fully engage with the story. The dialogue is often cliché and lacks depth, hindering the audience's immersion. Despite its visual strengths and solid performances, the movie fails to deliver a satisfying and engaging experience.
In summary, "Lost in the Pacific" showcases impressive visuals and solid performances but is let down by its confusing plot and lack of character development. The film's visual effects and production design capture attention, and the actors deliver decent performances. However, the weak storytelling and lack of coherence prevent the movie from reaching its full potential, leaving viewers with a mixed impression.
Jue min hang ban (2014)
A thrilling movie that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats.
The story revolves around a doomed flight that encounters a series of catastrophic events, testing the resilience and courage of its passengers and crew. From the beginning, tension builds as characters are introduced, quickly drawing viewers into their lives and the outcome of their terrifying ordeal.
One of the film's strengths is its strong ensemble cast. Each actor delivers exceptional performances, bringing their characters to life with depth and authenticity. The chemistry between the actors is palpable, enhancing the believability of their interactions amidst the chaos and despair that unfolds.
The movie's pacing is exceptional, ensuring there is never a dull moment. Skillfully crafted suspenseful sequences, tight editing, and well-executed action scenes maintain the intensity throughout. The director effectively utilizes the confined space of the airplane, creating a claustrophobic atmosphere that heightens the sense of impending doom.
The movie also explores the human psyche under extreme circumstances, delving into themes of survival, sacrifice, and the lengths people will go to protect their loved ones. It raises thought-provoking questions about morality and the choices individuals make when faced with unimaginable challenges.
Furthermore, the film's visual effects and cinematography deserve special mention.
