Escaping Twin Flames (2023)
How did these completely uncharismatic people take people in?
I went into this expecting to feel sorry for people who were taken in by a cult. But these two are so repulsive and so obviously just doing anything to take money from people that I can't even feel bad for the folks who got taken. They're barely even trying. How stupid do you have to be to be fooled by this pair of idiots? I'm not even sure they can be prosecuted. They're not clever enough to actually commit fraud competently. They literally went on social media and bragged about taking money and people continued to give them more?? Anyone who gave this pair money deserved to lose it. Dumbest cult ever.
Locke (2013)
Suspend disbelief, ignore huge plot hole and just enjoy
If you can ignore an enormous plot hole, a plot hole so large the entire movie should have fallen through it, watch for the great performance of the main character and the famous and recognizable voice actors who make the film awesome.
SPOILER
Locke apparently both has a major work project at which he must be physically present in person all night and has known this for weeks and weeks AND a family night planned watching sports, where his kids are waiting for their father to watch soccer and his wife is so sure he will be home all night she's dressed up herself up in soccer gear and made his favorite foods and bought his beer.
I'd ignore this plot hole except that nearly half the calls he receives are because he's not at work and like 20 percent of the calls are from his kids who expected him to be physically present at home all night.
Might be 8 or 9 out of 10 if they'd reviewed the script for huge holes before filming.
Evil (2019)
Really good show...with one big, annoying minus
Great acting, good plot. This show keeps the suspense going well throughout. I would have rated it 8 or 9 stars if it wasn't for the yelling children. The main character has 4 children and in every scene they appear, they all yell loudly and at the same time. I don't know what the writers were thinking. I have children. This is not normal or cute child behavior. These kids aren't toddlers. They're approximately 6 to 12 years old. It happens so often, the viewer dreads scenes in the MC's home. I stopped watching mid episode to give my nerves a rest several times. I hope in the second season they tone this down a lot.
