Civil War (2024)
Stunning film, a country torn apart, a warning maybe
Such a great film, the US torn apart by events we're never told.
Seen through eyes of journalists who are the eyes for the world.
The older battle hardened photo journalist, traumatized by watching her own country at war and handing over the reigns to the naive younger girl.
It's a slow burning, but the insanity builds to a dramatic ending.
The movie's theme is captured in the line from the sniper pinned down by remote gunfire, when asked who side are they on?
He says "it doesn't matter, they're shooting at us and we're shooting at them"
A country divided against itself, no rule of law and a heavily armed population, is it a near future possibility?
I think the dislikes are from people expecting an all out war film, no it's much better than that, far more thoughtful provoking.
Gordon Ramsay's 24 Hours to Hell and Back (2018)
Ignore the poor reviews, this show is terrific
People saying it's scripted, poorly made or fake. No, this is a great show, genuine restaurant owners and honest staff. I've got to admit Ramsey is a born leader. He has an A star tram behind him and must have very advanced planners creating the new decor.
The format is usually the same, which is fine.
It's great entertainment.
