Fallout (2024)
Constant fade to black
The transitions are awful. A fade to black every five minutes. It constantly hops back and forth between four main characters.
The story invalidated every game. But as a fan fiction it represents the games well. If the games had hardly any enemies.
Only three creatures were represented in this show and only a single one...
Everyone is either a bad actor or poorly directed, it's too nonserious, you never build emotion, tension and or any actual feeling.
The CG is pretty rough and scaling isn't one to one with the games.
A weak fallout plot, with daddy/abandonment and trust issues at the core of the writing.
Power (2014)
Great show, with bad continuity
Each season gave ghost a main conflict. However each one mostly followed the same tropes. The end of each season they created a conflict in the final episode as a cliff hanger. Most of the cliff hangers and trying to wrap up a season was done very poorly. The mid season content and the relationships is what makes the show so great.
The final Season was bad. You could tell they were trying to wrap it up, the whole season, it felt like they were wrapping it up then, no wait we need to make more episodes... The #whoshotghost is some seriously poor writing. None of the characters are following their arch, going to shoot ghost.... Why is Ghost just standing there with the lights off; there's no windows.., it would've been pitch black. They would've never released Dre from prison... So they gave Ghost a terrible ending then the network didn't want to lose subscribers so they set a 2 month wait to the final episode that they clearly tacked on.
This show would've been a 10/10 if it weren't for the terrible wrapping up and cliff hangers.
Rim of the World (2019)
Perverted humor involving minors, terrible CGI
It's not a kids movie, sure it has kids and it has the budget and amateur writing/acting of a kids movie. But it's very perverted having 10 year olds making jokes about not wanting to die a virgin, wanting to motorboat their coach, who's going to have sex with the 10 year old girl...
Maybe 5% of the jokes are funny, of those most were partly funny just from the major cringe/awkwardness. But the kids don't understand the jokes/ it's very inappropriate and they may repeat it and get in trouble, or have awkward questions...
I was a kid who watched Chucky at the age of three, I'm still often terrified by dolls. Nightmare on Elm St. at the age of 4. But at least those were good movies, and being such a young age you didn't notice how bad they were. They were campy but at least Chucky didn't have the little boy talk about sexual endeavors.
The movie will make most frustrated. The kids are bored from the dialogue, the adults are disturbed and hate the terrible CGI and writing....
Tomorrow Never Dies (1997)
Cheesy Action
Poor Plot. Eye-rolling one liners. Hilarious "stunts", like a helicopter flying propeller forward chopping down a whole street. It's okay for a pointless action movie. However there's nearly zero logic to the plot.
Overlord (2018)
Dumb horror, bad acting
The acting was fairly bad; the CG was sub par. Some bad humor (the Seargent, telling the troops "this is your job" while keeping them in line while the plane is on fire/everyone is dying) and the horror is mostly grotesque rather than scary. There were a few good scenes like the initial plane drop (bad acting, bad humor, but I liked seeing the interior of the plane, everyone dying, rather than most movies where it would just show the plane dropping). It could've been a "half decent" WW2 movie. Sure, Nazis did lots of interesting experimental science (the world would be much more advanced if they won) But this is just a dumb horror movie with little logic, it breaks down into a bad zombie(?) movie. There are better Nazi-zombie movies. But in general I'd say they're all bad.
When i initially watched it, IMDB had it at 7.5, now 6.5, quickly dropping, I assume it will soon be a 3.
Dredd (2012)
Terrible Green Screen
Terrible Green Screen, so much colored noise; poor color mastering.
A pain on the eyes, a boring story; bad acting.
The original is much better, and has better effects, I don't know how this looks so much worse.
Upgrade (2018)
Basic "plot twist"; not surprising
The plot twist was evident ever since the guy wanted to give him the implant.
The acting was bad but the action was worth the watch. But if you didn't realize the twist within the first 10m then you a) are not very smart or b) don't watch many movies.
Big Spoiler: I was hoping at the end it would of just left him in the hospital with the wife without cutting back to him; I like those open endings; where you're not sure if he went insane or if it was all a dream; this is probably the worst part of the movie; the movie feels it needs to explain everything; yet it tries to act like the explanations are unfounded; when they were very obvious.
Beyond Skyline (2017)
Baby just spawns clothes out of thin air
Baby just spawns clothes and diapers out of thin air..........
Last Man Standing (2011)
Kristen baxter...
The show is a decent family sitcom, Tim Allen always giving a great performance. Everyone else is really lacking; the laugh track is annoying and they pace it for laughs however it's not a laughable show.
Anyways, the show is mainly about Tim Allen"outdoor man"; playing a young grandfather who's frustrated with many aspects of the world. He's "the last man", in a world soaked with "girly, liberal, left sided attitude" this rich American patriot stands against yoga and more towards competition... He's known as outdoor man because of his popular internet show that he uses to advertise for his hunting/outdoor store...
When Tim's daughter "Kristen" switched actors... it was very off putting, mixed with the sub-par acting, laugh track, and cheesy jokes ruined this show completely.
Kid Cannabis (2014)
Bad acting, boring, inaccurate
The acting was horrible, if you look at production dates and the gross revenue it is evident no publisher liked this movie, and no one payed to watch it, people have only watched it through Netflix.
The movie is inaccurate in the fact that 300lbs Is only worth about 480000 street. I don't know how much they legitimately bought and sold in real life but the pricing was definitely inaccurate in the movie. Also a trafficker would not be paid such a huge percentage. There was also maybe 10lbs of weed in the suppliers grow room.
This movie was not comedic, I had no emotion when they were being robbed, this whole production seems as if a few kids came together made a movie with their friends and asked two of the lowest budget pro actors to give them three minutes of footage. The whole experience was a major waste of time, and I'm disgusted by the fact that I wasted these few hours of my life.
The soundtrack was also horrible white kids rapping.
Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013)
Cheesy
This movie is very cheesy and boring. Horrible acting! Boring me to death. Some sort of supposed horror not scary at all kind of funny. Well, I guess most horrors are a lot like this but this is the most pathetic one I've ever watched. Something to do with a mysterious satanic demon. The classic eerie music that is meant to add drama collides with the false attitude of the film making a laughable scene. Everything feels over dramatized and stretched out yet it jumps around in an irrelevant matter. I hope no one will ever view this outrageous nonsense ever again. Police believe the male character murdered this lady who was some sort of exorcist. They blame it on some demon or ghost. The man yells at the female character enraged by her partial decision to blame him for such things also.
