The Haunting of Hill House (2018)
Don't watch if you have heart problems
I'm really having troubles sleeping after watching this series. There is really no gore or horror spooks. The show is very intense. The mental illness and supernatural really blends well. If you're easily scared don't watch.
Flight of the Conchords: New Cup (2009)
Brilliant!!
The show takes a new route to comedy. If you're an avid comedy fan, you don't want to miss this. If you liked the office (UK version) the subtle humor, you'll love this. Their self depreciating tone will make you love them. It's if I'm not exaggerating bit like Chaplin, a bit of reality in comedy. I laughed at and with them. Each episode observed different aspects of daily live from gangsta rap to mermaids. Bret and Jermaine they've won a few awards (Bret won Oscar for The Muppets movie) and a Grammy for the show.I liked Murray the most Rhys Darby performance really shone throughout both seasons. I would've liked if they had continued with the show. But still two seasons isn't bad.
The Prestige (2006)
If I ever make films, this has a lot to do.
PRESTIGE the film which cherishes the art of story telling. And I've cherished with it. The plot lines are so complex, it steals your attention. The performance by Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman and Michael Caine stole the scene. And the man to give real credit for The Nolan Brothers WOW!!! their screenplay are Oscar worthy. The story of the two rival magicians who are obsessed with their craft fights to get the best spot. But the screenplay is so huge that it boils down to the fight of their personal gains. It explores human obsession to not let it go and the tragic result of that. Human conflicts and emotions, Imagination and not able to imagine, creative and creative .It inspired me hope it inspires you.
The Godfather (1972)
Simply a Masterpiece.
It's a great film in the history of film. Such a well sculpted film- making. Must watch to experience the true art of film. What I loved about it was the story telling, not exaggerating the crimes, taking the tones seriously and the artful cinematography. Marlon Brando again defined acting and the range of acting. Al Pacino became a star through this film for his extravagant and powerful performance. The production was so neat, the timing of the dialogue. It lives up to the expectation of Mario Puzo's novel. Some of the scenes were so real and eye-opening. It really explores thorough the darkness of human behavior. This is a "MUST SEE" movie don't miss it.
