Betrayed (2018)
Great movie!
Great movie. It is very unexpected. I can guarantee that you definitely wont be bored.
Horrorific (2018)
Amazing, simply amazing
All in all, the movie is a brilliant work of art that critiques couldn't be more wrong about giving it such low scores. Try it for yourself and judge.
Chimera Strain (2018)
Interesting
The hook was good but the execution could have been better, no major complaints its good but could have been better
Bilal: A New Breed of Hero (2015)
Does this really reflect Islam?
I can understand that every nation are proud of their history, the brighter parts at least, what I do not understand is how Muslims are still fascinated about wars, concurring the world, and forcing everyone else to their faith, or else kill them. I thought that this was part of the past, then ISIS came, well many Muslims said that ISIS doesn't represent the true Islam, then Bilal movie came, I was super confused watching it, not sure what message it is trying to pass; yes there were lots of lengthy monologues that enforce some messages about freedom, peace etc. But the actual movie really contradicts with them, sorry to all Muslim friends out there, I understand that you push for this film for the love of your faith, you have all the right to promote your thoughts, but Bilal movie did it all wrong, why Omaya and the other bald dude are evil? because they run business and have thick eyebrows? what is the core thing that justified Muslims kill them? this I really don't get, this is the difference between me watching it as a non-Muslim, and Muslims watching it with their pre emotions (they already love the Islamic historical figures and hate their enemies), I was not convinced, I was actually scared, if it is that easy for Muslims to get excited about getting into wars and claiming angels on their side, then it makes a lot of sense of all the terrorism attacks we see everywhere, if that is the type of heroes Muslims want their kids to follow, then I guess that are still way too far from peace. So I repeat my question to me Muslims friends, does Bilal movie really reflect Islam?
On the other side, I enjoyed the beginning of the movie, I liked Bilal the kid, but it seems that he is losing character as he grows, I liked the quality of graphics, was impressed with the animals (the horse, the eagle, the chicken), their movements, hair, feather textures were quiet impressive, liked the fabrics and the surroundings, but I didn't like the human animations, special facials, they looked too dull.
The Humanity Bureau (2017)
Hard 9!
I went to see this movie on a friday night with low expectations, thinking it will be an average fluff heist action movie. If you want a non-stop edge of the seat action movie, with a huge twist, GO watch this. Don't listen to the haters that are miserable with their lives, and can't ever appreciate anything good. It's definitely one of the best heist movies I have seen in a long time. Loved the twist in the end.
The Recall (2017)
The perfect of horror
It's a very scary film but what impressed me was how true the film sticks to the original's tricks; it isn't filled with loud in-your-face jump scares, in fact, a lot of what makes this film scary is the slick cinematography and intricate shadow play. The use of lighting and creation of atmosphere is what makes this film so tense, which is why it's perfectly suited for those who like Horror movies but without the obnoxious gore.
10 Days in a Madhouse (2015)
I really liked this film
It's the first time that i want to write my opinion in a movie. When i started to watch the movie, i said to myself well,it's another great drama movie. After i finished watching the movie, i didn't even dare to shutdown my lap before writing a review.
10 Days in a Madhouse is simply the best drama movie of the year because the movie was terrific, the acting was mesmerizing and the plot was impressively perfect.
This movie was beyond anything I'd imagined it to be. I had heard some great stuff about it and decided to watch it and I'm so glad I did.Kids will have fun watching this movie and learn valuable morals. Adults, on the other hand, will immensely enjoy watching this movie, will appreciate it for what it truly is and will understand its realmeaning. This movie is just absolutely amazing, the best I've seen all year! Please watch it, you will not be disappointed.
Miss in Her Teens (2014)
I really liked this film
I really love the movie. The fact is that it takes time to discover anything about the plot not a problem for me, but it was clear to many. If you can just keep asking questions until the end of the movie then this is for you. The plot is really engaging and unique. For me, it was a great comedy and it did a perfect job of blowing up the laughter. Easily one of my favorite movies of all time, and the best movies of recent years!
A Gamer's Life (2016)
I really liked this film
I just saw this on snapchat. It made me feel like a kid again when watching their ad. At first, I was like what is this? I watched it on Hulu and sure it got slow at some parts, but overall I feel it was really cool seeing every day people with day jobs and trying to live their dreams well unleash their inner child. BOOM....
Wheels (2014)
Highly recommend
Drake and Mickey form an unlikely friendship as they roll through the streets of Los Angeles filled with drugs, crime, and prostitutes. We see the struggles, the heartbreak, and the most important thing of all: the importance of friendship. You will laugh, you will cry, and your heart will be touched.
Overall, it's a movie very well done. All characters have their time to shine and the whole movie, just epic!
The most fun I have had at the movies in years. Need I say more? Is it worth watching in a cinema? Pretty much, there's not too much competition now. But is it something outstanding, something memorable? Not really, just another quality blockbuster , which shows despite the setting having been changed to outer space
Interview with a Hitman (2012)
Killing Can Be Tough
The movie Interview with a Hit-man does many things well in terms of crime fiction. First of all it combines the idea that a killer is not just an instrument of death but a person with some natural human feeling hidden deep beneath the layers of hatred and evil. Viktor the young paid killer in the story becomes cold and cruel as a result of his circumstances rather than by choice.
This doesn't dismiss the fact that he is still a killer, but it does make the audience sort of sympathize with him more.
This is especially true when he decides to start changing in the second half of his life.
Like a Country Song (2014)
Reconciliation through Redemption
The movie Like a Country Song, has it's upsides as well as its downsides. One of the downsides is that not everybody likes country music, unlike myself cause I'm from Nashville; the city in which part of the story takes place. The upsides are that the plot is very well connected. Something else I likes was that it presented the characters individually at first and showed how they view the world from their own perspectives. However I wished the story would place more emphasis on the character's musical career. What I enjoyed though is that the movie allowed every character to develop in his or her own way. The story progressed swiftly enough without giving away too much of the plot, and it will keep you watching the movie until the very end
Reminiscence (2014)
Disturbing, unpredictable, sick and very creepy
Great job! If you want to have nightmares, then go and watch Reminiscence. It's so scary and different.
Black holes, time-breaks, weird things, gore, drama, horror, Reminiscence is a very crazy movie.
There are various elements in the screenplay we haven't seen in other horror movies. The story is very well structured even with that low budget. Visual effects are very realistic and very scary. And all effects are powered by great sound design and music. Music is well-matched with the scenes. All scenes have their own music. Many melancholic tracks that can really effects your mood. One of the scenes main actress Michaela Rexova singing a song in an unknown language. It was so amazing, she has a beautiful voice. At the end credits I saw that all female vocals made by her.
What I also like is, there aren't any unnecessary dialog and boring parts that you may complain about. Acting is not great and even sometimes it little looks unprofessional but you don't feel it much cause of the movie's good atmosphere.
Very good effort from the brilliant director Akçay Karaazmak. A new taste in horror.
