Fawlty Towers (1975)
Could Possibly Be The Best Sitcom Ever!!!
Fawlty Towers is just flat out fantastic. What else is there to say? I mean, is there another comedy series as funny, as well acted, as frustrating, and as smart as Fawlty Towers? In my opinion, no! People say shows like Black Books, Seinfeld, Friends, Modern Family, The Office and The Big Bang Theory are the best sitcoms ever. Yes, many of these are great, but none of them, I repeat, none of them are as hysterical as Fawlty Towers! If you like John Cleese as an actor, or if you like British comedy, or if you like sitcoms in general, I can guarantee that you will love Fawlty Towers!
I know this may sound like a bit of a rant, but, in my opinion it is the only way to convey how amazing Fawlty Towers really is!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Welcome to the Hellmouth (1997)
The One That Started It All...
Buffy The Vampire Slayer is fantastic. No doubt about it. But when people say it's there favourite show, their usually talking about the later seasons. The pilot of this gem is never given much credit, but in my opinion its one of the best pilots around. It introduces the characters very well and manages to give us an idea of what their personalities are like. Its funny. The pilot of BTVS comes very close to being a comedy. Its exciting. It is very fast paced and the fight scenes are extremely cool, and overall, its just downright fun!
I love BTVS, and I think this episode does a very good job at hooking peoples attention and luring them into the wonder of the buffyverse!
Planet of the Apes (1968)
One Of The Most Underrated Films Ever!
Planet Of The Apes gets a bad rap. People dis on it just because the masks and special effects look a little fake. Well, stuff them! Planet Of The Apes is awesome, and i'm going to tell you why.
Let me start off with the acting. The acting in this film is great! The way they were able to develop the ape's characters personalities through those rubber masks is amazing! Charlton Heston is fantastic as the main character, and Nova was a surprisingly good actor!
Most people only see pictures of the ape masks and think: FAKE! THAT MOVIE SUCKS!!!!! Well, c'mon, it doesn't look that bad! Maybe if it was made today people would have the rights to laugh at it, but, the film was made 45 years ago! CGI didn't exist yet! SO DON"T JUDGE THIS FILM ON ITS EFFECTS!!!
Now we've gone over the acting and effects, we can talk about the actual film. Planet Of The Apes is great. what more is there to say? It has an important message and is very deep, it talks about heavy subject matters such as evolution and war, and its funny, but stays serious. I'm not going to spoil anything, but that ending! My god!
Overall, Planet Of The Apes is a great satire and is overall fantastic. This movie is very highly recommended in my point of view.

2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
Beautiful, Mesmerising, And All Around Brilliant!
I went in to 2001 not knowing what to expect. I had heard it was fantastic, but I had also heard it was incredibly boring. Well, let me say, after finishing watching this ripper, I felt like skinning anybody who ever said anything bad about this film. The Special effects are breathtaking. The cinematography is excellent, the acting is fantastic, and the film is absolutely magnificent!
Though many people may disagree with me, I found this film to be absolutely terrifying! The music, HAL 9000, and my fear of the unknown led me to having nightmares of HAL singing "Daisies" And that soundtrack! oh my lord! The theme song! Requiem For Soprano! Some of the best music i've ever heard!
And i've heard people call this film boring! Sure, it's slow, but boring? Hell No! By the middle I was absolutely mesmerized by it! I just couldn't tear my eyes away
Stanley Kubrick's directing style also blew me away. You could tell he had an incredibly strong vision, and he just knew what he was doing. And 2001 was no fluke! all his other films are fantastic as well, though 2001 is still the best (In my opinion)
n my opinion, 2001 is one of the best films ever made, and I recommend it to everybody who likes film!

Firefly (2002)
Great Show!
Firefly is a great show filled with action, humour, suspense and adventure. It has a fantastic cast that all do a very good job in their roles. Nathan Fillion is absolutely fantastic as outlaw malcolm reynolds, capturing the essence of the character perfectly. My personal favourite episode is Our Mrs. Reynolds. I thought it was the funniest of the lot, the smartest of the lot, and all around the best of the lot. I also really love Out Of Gas, Ariel, and The Message. The effects also surprised me. I expected them to be crappy and fake looking, but I found them INCREDIBLY good for a 2002 cult TV show! I mean, in the episode "Trash", the pods that take the rubbish away look like something you'd expect from a big budget movie!
Another superb thing about Firefly is the snappy dialogue. I have found my self quoting it in every possible situation. A couple of my favourite quotes would probably be: The "Beast" quote, from "Objects In Space". "Curse Your Sudden But inevitable Betrayal!" From "Serenity" And, last but not least: "Mercy" Quote from "Shindig". I have loads more favs, but I don't want this review to go for that long.
Overall Firefly is fantastic in every aspect, and I have actually attempted to kill the people who cancelled it.
