Ela Veezha Poonchira (2022)

Dark, tough to digest

Reasoning is not strong, everything in the movie is perfect. Such a low budget movie with only 15 to 30 charters, just with a hill top the story moves, twist with another twist were excellent.

But "the reason behind" did not fit, so many options are there for couple to over come. India is in 2023, at least Kerala is in 2023 compare to other state as I m from TN, at least that much I can say. If it was correct reason movie would got ten out out ten. Story line is week, but rest all 100% perfect. Sobin did a excellent job and about goddess Parvathy, that statement hurt me, all we know is lord Ganesha was guarding.

This is new to Indian Industry, may be in Kerala Industry is starting it. In Proper space the move builts to a stage , that you will think of two options/hints, and you will expect that hint will be the climax. But that's the brilliance of directory and screen play writer. The twice at the end will give hart-attack. But two upset me. One is after knowing.identifying the reason Pramod did not express the "schock ". Second is Pramod is equally guilt, he also should take same path as Vinod. From Daughter's perspective directory decided the clean end or finish, but from father's perspective, Pramod is feeling the guilt by seeing Vinod in mirror and he didn't follow Vinod, this upset me. As father Pramod didnt do his duty as well directory didnt show Pramod punishment.

Driver Jamuna (2022)

Not a usual formula movie

It is not a usual formula movie. If you expect few songs, few fights, few sentiments then it is not your movie.

Movie starts with simple cab booking but things changes later. Slowly it will engage you and you will be curious, then the climax twist will be too good.

These types of movies are very much needed for Tamil industry, any girl or women will love the movie. It is time we should welcome this type of movie.

I thoroughly enjoyed and people may have different opinion on actors skill, but I enjoyed the screen play and according to screen play the actors did the job accordingly.

Hope you also enjoy the movie.

Freddy (2022)

This is a comedy movie

Just a comedy movie, nothing good about this movie. Male lead was better, but screen play is zero, logic not zero it is minus hundred. Not how audience can accept this why eight rating i dont get it at all.

Maybe these are new to Hindi cinema industry. I had a good laugh while watching the movie.

I know movies not to be 100 percent.logical. But there should be some logic anc connectivity, every was funny only.

I wasted my time. But enjoyed movie as comedy one.

Even if you dont have anything to watch think twice or thrice before watching. That would be my recommendation.

Check other movies in hotstar enjoy.

Poochandi (2022)

engages till the end and many goosebumps

From the beginning till the end kept me engaged. Practical feelings/emotions of each character. Connection in the end was acceptable, There was no typical horror scenes like seeing ghost in the mirror. Surprised that people can be greed even if they are in their death bed. Overall people are greedy ghost was unselfish, which made me laugh about the world. In cinemas it would have been great experience, but I could only watch it from Netflix, I liked the movie because it was low budget and very less characters, no lag, engaging, I could connect to the story, basically with Tamil Nadu history, one time watch.

Aa Karaala Ratri (2018)

yes, till the end tension was there but not acceptable

Director kept the tension till the end, yes human nature is desire, but mother will know her child, kind of i m not convinced, that mom couldn't identify her son. Background fields, very characters, simpleton of a village everything was good and refreshing, story is all happening in 1980 all that I could accept, even son didnt try his best to reveleve himself stage by stage, no one will sow the earning just like that to parents unless he/she reveleves as son or daughter. Ending is not practical and story and movie is all about simple and normal desire but human are not that low to take this rude or danger step in life.

Screenplay + SJ Surya

World movie watcher knew this concept. For Indian cinema, specially for Tamil cinema industry this is new concept, thanks to the director and producer for this treat.

Screen play was ultimate, few scenes or tricks are similar to Korean movies.

But over all there was no lag it was not boring, SJ Surya was the best.

YGM has shown his different dimension. Always have seen him as comedian but this was a different role.

Just for SJS I may watch one more time.

I have few questions

Why dont main-lead use his flesh till the end? If not why dont the female lead use her own flesh, if not why not her son's flesh it will be even taster right?, like chicken 65, why to kill old poor rickshaw man?, I bet that rickshaw man flesh will taste bitter or salty.

This kind of movies should be banned in my opinion.

Till the main lead uses his flesh the movie went in right direction, till then all was ok to accept. For that i can give 4 star, but rest of it is hell.

No human is born with meat eating goal, when you start tasting first time you love the taste and you continue eating.

So mistake is from main-lead who made the female lead fall for human flesh and then everything went wrong.

I was so angry while watching it, director please answer my questions.

Family Drama (2021)

Poor screen play and direction

Unexpected story for Indian cinema, but very poor execution. So much hyped not a fan of Telugu cinema, gave a try because of it was thriller.

Actors did good job, so much logical flaw.

Predictable and few places I dont accept the logic, that characters know the fact and there are lot more ways to deal a situation, still they played dumb.

It is not practical and drug dealing people are too smart in any given case.

But it will engage you and it wont bore or there is no lag till the end.

I won't comment on story line.

Proper proportion of Thriller and Emotion throughout the movie.

Till last minute it will engage you, for a second your heart will skip a beat in the end.

Two things I liked about is 1) The (Actor/Actress) more or less matched, (you will understand once watch the movie) 2) Every then and there direct have given hints, but naturally you will ignore them, because your mind will occupy on murder case and next moves

Worth watching, one time,, all the actor/actress have great skills they will shine in near future, if they get good opportunity. Ashiwary is established actress though.

This movie will become a talk of the town.

Congrats to Director, for this new experiment and succeeding on the same.

A Sun (2019)

Simple and Realistic

You have to put your self in the shoes of a parent or the son and watch the movie.

Even scene was crisp and clear, I mean no extra drama or extra emotional scene.

To the point and all the pieces are put together properly.

Everyone is right about themselves.

And director showed that humanity still exists by showing helping hands from strangers like Dad's boss and Son's boss.

Somehow I felt sad and at the end I felt happy as the story had positive end.

If you are lover of commercial movie or looking for more drama based movies, this movie is not for you.

I like it because it was so practical.

Incendies (2010)

Very Unfortunate and it is hard to digest

If you are a light hearted person or if you are a pregnant woman I strongly recommend NOT to watch. I don't want to discuss about the Christian and Muslim issues. If this a real story then it is very unfortunate and war between countries contributed to it.

Hats off to the director the way he handled the movie was excellent. Each character's actions are practical, any human will react the same way. Perfect! Only a mother can understand a child. The actress who acted as Nawal Marwan properly justified the character.

All the actors have done a best job. Thought the director is smart, the way he narrated the story is the best way for this kind of story, Somehow my heart went to deep depression for few days when and I controlled my mind saying it is just a movie.

It took a month for me to digest the fact and finally I came out of that sadness and got some courage to write a review so that it will help someone.

Good casting, very poor plot cum screen play

Crime plot is so poor and logically so many loop holes. Its like same scenes were repeating in each episodes with difference victim. No smart move by police officer I mean veronica, no smart move by the jennet, even 5 year old kid will have a better plan to win over a situation. Really disappointed. Thanks, Meena.

Barbara Bialowas seems to be Rookie in Erotic movies

My honest opinion. Movie has no story, nothing special in technical aspect etc. Movie is just erotic, which has lot of draw back. Its only visually some what OK and that to because of male lead. No sexy dialog, No sexy music, Not a sexy story, Just some scenes. Even in the porn world this movie would fail. In one sentence it looks like 2 robots trying to have a sex life.

Every human in certain period of life needs a sexual life and all the fantasy, It can only be satisfied with Sight, Sound, Smell, Taste, and Touch. Good director should be talented enough to visually create all these 5 senses in such erotic movies. This movie gives only sight which didn't convince as well.

Got a chance to watch this move on 18-Feb-2020. I m still shaking, the last 15 minutes were simply awesome. from the being till the end each frame , each dialog holds a meaning, as usual the director, screen play writer, actors have given their best. Each human being is different in a way, each human needs a reason to live the life. Worst reason also sometimes makes a person life his/her life.

If you have time and if you appreciate old master piece movies, don't hesitate to watch this movie.

The Man Without Gravity (2019)

Practical scenario, If it at all it happens

If at all a child is born with no gravity what would be his world? Every stage of his life what happens is been captured in 1:29. May be director don't want to experiment different things for some reason like once you come to know there is a person who has no gravity, first thing would happen in my opinion is, medical team from all over the world will try to do some testing, check-up etc. Director skipped that. Plus as a teenager the hero would have faced lot of frustration, that is also skipped, very few scenes only. If a person has a specialty, be it good or be it bad as a value add that person will know the best way to utilities the power, as he will be keep on thing what to do with his life in a most useful way. If you ask me the hero is a best fit as a firefighter who can rescue people from high raised building, not a person who cleans the window. Definitely this is a feel good movie with new concept, but it would have been the BEST if the screenplay has been reviewed multiple times. But still it is 8/10 just because the director risked and tried a different concept with a brave heart.

Don't watch because of Jose Coronado

I ended up watching the movie because Jose Coronado, No doubt about his acting, perfect fit for father character. But practically speaking without knowing/understanding why son is beaten up, none of the father would react. Script didn't convenience me, I m not even worried about movie being slow, or only one character (father) is fully occupied in every scene, story line very week.

If you don't have anything to watch, if you are also big fan of Jose Coronado like me, then you can watch or else skip it.

May be I didn't know the background of war/writer/director, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Facing such a tragedy, moving on and continue living a life is the toughest of most of all. If I meet a person or a refuge I might fall on her feet to take blessings. I don't understand the war patterns, it is same every where, they lock up female and do all bad things. Why this cruelty against women all over the world? Thought provoking movie, with two simple characters.
