I actually like this show and find it very compelling to watch. Being Australian, it is kind of a history lesson, shown in an interesting way.

I think that the show is credible, as it dosen't go too far. I've watched a show similar that was done here in Australia and it was just stupid. If people believe that it was fake, then wouldn't the producers be making more paranormal activity happen? I also like it, in the way that it balances it up at the end with the right amount of skepticism from the psychologists/ parapsychologist.

I do believe that a show like this would work well here in Australia, as it has its own share of ghosts- Port Arthur in Tasmania is a prime example. Being a former Tasmanian, I was told many stories of the ghostly sightings.

If people think that show is silly, then don't watch it.

A sweet tale of female friendships
24 September 2004
This film is really a celebration of female relationships between; mothers and daughters, between girl friends and between wife and husband. There are numerous flash backs, but the film flows at a good pace that it is not a distraction at all.

The storyline is very light hearted to begin with, but gets darker. Ashley Judd does a great performance as an Alcohol addicted mother and Ellen Burstyn is also good as the older character, played by Ashley Judd. The humour is funny enough and does not go overboard. See this film with your girl friends, and make sure you bring a box of Kleenex with you. A two thumbs up.

Judas Kiss (1998)
A group of criminals pull off a robbery.
24 September 2004
This film, would have to be about the most pretentious load of rubbish that I have seen all year. I'm not trying to put down the actors in this film, as they are all very good actors. But it astounds me, as to how these actors could have been in such a lousy film. The characters were extremely flawed and the film only seemed to improve when Emma Thompson and Alan Rickman made appearances. These sort of characters do work in films, (ie such as Rush Hour one and Two and shanghi Noon) but they just didn't go along well with the plot. The plot was also extremely flawed and it did jump around too much.

All I can say about this film, was that it was painful to sit through and I would not recommend this film to anyone. The screenwriter did a thousand times better job on Gothika then on this film.
