Jongmalui Babo (2024)
Complete waste of time...
Do yourself a favor and spend your time watching something else - even if it's a movie you really can't stand. It'll still be better than this monstrosity.
This could have been a much better film and not a series. To stretch this out for 12 series when it would have been better edited and made into a 90 minute movie would have been a much better idea. If a series could be a word salad, this series would be it.
The premise and the first ten minutes of episode one is promising. After that - you'll find yourself skipping to the last ten minutes of the episode 12 - at which time you'll be thankful you didn't watch any episode in it's entirety.
American Experience: Riveted: The History of Jeans (2022)
More White Guilt Disguised
I was looking forward to watching this and all of a sudden it turned into a lesson on slavery. I should have known when I saw PBS. This was an incredible disappointment and just another attempt to spread white guilt.
Lincoln (2012)
Some things never change...
The movie genuinely demonstrates the ignorance of the Democrats in their attempt to bring down the 13th Amendment from coming to fruition. But history has dictated their ability to manipulate African-Americans with the use of African-Americans to fall for their ideology. Just as Western African sold off other Africans as slaves. The acting by Daniel Day Lewis is worthy of an Academy Award, and though I am not a fan of Sally Feld, her portrayal of Mary Todd was nothing less than awesome. Thaddeus Stevens, played by Tommy Lee Jones was spectacular, and a surprise integrate role within the film. This is a must see in the theater.
