Shôgun (2024)
Excellent....costumes , Action Amazing actors except..
I can barely watch the lead Englishman ... His contacts made him look so strange. Like a goblin. Or a Cyclopes with two eyes. I watched 4 episodes ; production value is off the chain ! Costumes are magnificent... makeup is great ( except cyclopse eyes ) arrrrghhhhh I just can't get past those eyes or his acting ability. Im sorry. But I do work in the film industry... And I believe if they needed a blue eyed actor .... There are MANY who could have nailed the role.
That being over said ; I probably watch the series a bit more but I'll fast forward past fake blue eyes. I cannot imagine a love scene with the beautiful Japanese lady and that guy.
Half of a half (2020)
The music is spectacular
I loved this drama because it was well written and very mysterious. All the actors were very well cast. The music particularly kept me not even skipping the beginning each time. I just loved the piano works. And the ballads were so gorgeous.
The story line was well thought out , I can only imagine the pain of what was revealed as it moved along. I did love this so much. Definitely a rewatch in time. There are certain K dramas that can be timeless as this one will certainly play out in the future. Fascinating dialogues that really make you think about human existence, I thought the psychological thinking in their creations were very well explained.
Keopi peurinseu 1-hojeom (2007)
My absolute favorite K Drama
Ahhhh the chemistry of the the lead lovers is so playful and funny and endearing. They must've got along so well during this filming process. I have watched it once a year since seeing it the first time four years ago. I envy those who watch it for the first time.
The writing is so good. They truly captured fun love not only with the leads but all the relationships. I loved the supporting couple ......I can only Hope for friendships and relationships with those kind of connections.
I totally fell for all the beautiful sexy men in this fun comedy drama. I'm watching now and intend to watch again in a year ; why ? Because it's fresh each time.
Pachinko (2022)
Completely engulfed by this beautiful story.
Where do I start ? The opening music is the best I've ever experienced. I never skipped it to get to the show as I do for most intros. It's like a ballet and the shots are so stunning and compelling.
I am a huge fan of Lee Min Ho ... he is a different actor in this drama. I have to say it's the subtleties he uses for this powerful character. Well done ! And Minha Kim excellently portrays this once innocent child who finds her place after enduring so much in her life.
Every actor in this drama shines with true personality of their roles .. I seriously hope another season will be coming forth .. until then I plan to read the book.
Banjjagineun Woteomellon (2023)
So Great. It shines a light a type of family most know nothing about.
There didn't seem to be any mention of the core of this story, which is the many ways that love can be expressed. And communication is a foundation for all to learn. I am a Coda and totally found this KDrama to be warm and well thought out.
My deaf mother used to always buy a car that had a radio and good speakers ! Just because she couldn't hear didn't mean she didn't want me to appreciate music. She did always enjoy the vibrations from music.
So I loved that they showed this in the story.
And there are several gems of wisdom thru out the story line. I think I'd like to watch it again to highlight those moments to write down to remember.
Cidade Invisível (2021)
