Do Dooni Chaar (2010)
Movie Shows compromises from desires.......
The story about how a middle class family in India earns and spends money and the struggle in their life is very beautifully shown in the film.I have not seen a movie like this in decades. It is great to see Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh in the film. They have added charm to it with their presence. The movie portrays a family lives in Delhi and struggles due to less family income. There is only one person in the family who earns and for little desires they have to compromise due to less money. That's the situation,we,middle class families are facing daily. This movie shows perfect situations which we are facing in our day to day life and compromising from our desires.
Mithya (2008)
Wonderful pace with some funny sequences
Mithya is a story about an unemployed actor VK (playd by Ranvir Shorey) whose life takes a sudden turn when it is discovered that his face resembles that of a powerful don Raje (again played by Ranvir Shorey). The movie starts on a wonderful pace with some funny sequences thrown in. A memorable one is where the some henchmen try to take out a snap of VK. Vinay Pathak and Naseeruddin Shah were not utilized fully in the movie. Neha Dhupia comes about in the frame as a prop. The movie completely belongs to Ranvir. The movie resembles DON in the first half but suddenly it takes a twist near the interval. The second half too meanders along. The ending is a good one, although it comes about suddenly.
