Safety Not Guaranteed (2012)
What a joy it was to watch "Safety Not Guaranteed"
If Safety Not Guaranteed was made 5 years ago, no doubt the character played by the hilarious Aubrey Plaza, would've been played by Ellen Page and Mark Ruffalo would have replaced Jake Johnson as Jeff.
Now, as mentioned, Plaza is very funny, but sadly, she, almost note-by-note, reprised her Parks and Recreation TV role. That said, if you liked her there, she'll continue to crack you up here. (Thankfully, both Mary Lynn Rajskub from TV's 24 and The League's Mark Duplass, did not follow suit by mimicking their TV characters. Not in the least.) -The climax ,one of the best ending I ever see (it will spin your mind for half in hrs) Well in the end (as always ignore my faulty English :P but I am improving :) ) I recommend it from my heart , Yes It start on a slow note but the movie worth it for 1 time watch. ıt's amazing film. The story is science fiction, fantasy and real-life relationships. it were shot with with millions and had few major "stars" it would be a box office smasher. There is a conversation that takes place between the two main characters in Safety Not Guaranteed, Aubrey Plaza's Darius and Mark Duplass's Kenneth, in which Kenneth talks about his first girlfriend. He tells Darius that yes, technically he could go out and get another girlfriend like everyone always says, but he could never find a way to replicate the time and place. He could never capture that same ephemera and unhinged optimism again no matter what. I loved that conversation, and that feeling Kenneth mentions is one that struck me hard watching Safety Not Guaranteed; this is an inspired effort and one that I'm not going to forget. Therefore I advise to everybody.
Cloverfield (2008)
Movie makers never learn...,
It seems as though too many wannabe sci-fi/horror movie makers have not realized that the "Apocalyptic-Giant-Monster-Attack + Lots-of-Little-Creepy-Monsters + Shaky-Camera-First-Person-View + Dark-Tunnels-and-Hallways + Screw-It-Let's-Nuke-The-Site-From-Orbit-It's-The-Only-Way-To-Be-Sure" equation has been overdone, and they should have learned from the Godzilla '98 travesty. The giant monster had the _potential_ to be really cool, but despite the myriad conceptual drawings (that leaked their way onto the Internet), the powers-that-be opted to go with a Godzilla/Marauder/Arachnid hybrid that was creepy without being truly terrifying. The spider-like "ticks" that seemed to steal their movements and appearance from "Pitch Black" and "Starship Troopers" monsters held little appeal other than a way of saying "Boo!" during quiet moments in the movie. If you are prone to motion sickness, don't plan on enjoying your popcorn in the theater, as the first-person shaky-camera footage throughout the movie (as in, the ENTIRE movie) will ruin your intestinal fortitude. After looking at the 8 out of 10 clover-field received on IMDb, I was fairly excited about seeing the flick. However about halfway through the movie I realized that there really wasn't any plot.. Not even any main characters.. My 8 year old cousin could have produced a better movie! The entire movie consisted of a couple of friends trying to get away from this giant clover-field spider (Which is actually a type of spider) If I could have thought of the typical monster movie taking over the city and destroying everything this would have definitely fit the mold! An would have fallen far short of my expectations.. 3 out of 10 is a generous rating for the movie as I don't even think it should receive a star! Don't WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME
Crash (2004)
This movie was complete real
Crash" is a complex movie with a simple premise: set in Los Angeles it follows 8 main characters (and many, many more supporting) from all walks of life and races whose lives intersect at some point during one 24 hour period. These people are all different yet all alienated, to the point of breaking, so much so that when they come together, things explode. he complexity of the film comes from the encounters between characters and their tangled lives and worlds. Race is paramount in this film, and all our preconceptions of who people are get twisted and turned through the intricate plot. With each new additional character we find another assumption, another stereotype, and then watch as that preconception is obliterated as the character develops. It is a credit to the deftly written script, tight direction and exceptional acting talent that every one of these many characters is fully realized on screen without ever feeling one-dimensional. The film tries desperately to present reality, but there's just no talent whatsoever.
50/50 (2011)
It was a perfect and dramatic film.
The film was exciting and dramatic. In some parts of film, love was dominant, but some parts of film were dramatic. As I understood the name of the film, 50 50 either death or alive. That is, it has a meaningful film. Let's mention about the film. A healthy man lost his hope to life when he faced with death suddenly. Moreover, he broke up with his girlfriend. This got upset him more. Then, he meets a woman doctor who helps to him in this process and the relationship between the doctor and the man sometimes assist to the man, while fighting with the illness. Finally The most important thing is hope and he turns to health in spite of everything... This is a must see movie! Great job with this film you deserve the award. When you watch it, you feel the different emotions. This film is worth watching. You should watch immediately.
