Road House (1989)
Too many nude chick's not enough fighting.
Basically every girl featured in this movie ended up naked which really took away from me enjoying this film. The fighting and the plot were fun but ya as a woman it's just a but unfair for me so here's my bias opinion.
The Brothers Solomon (2007)
No idea why this receives so many bad reviews.
This is a great movie! Will Forte and will Arnett together are golden. They work off each other each other well and the comedy is gold. I'm not sure why I saw so many bad reviews and gave it a shot anyways. Very good just watch it and see for yourself.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)
Basically a child's version of ghostbusters- in a bad way.
Was hoping by the way the trailer made it look we'd see more Bill Murray and Paul Rudd, but no. They were in maybe five minutes of the movie totalled.
The young girl is actually the main character of this movie who has no redeeming qualities. She's supposed to be witty but comes off as rude which makes it impossible to root for her.
If you're looking for a typical 2021 movie where it's all about being woke then I guess this is the movie for you.
Not Another Teen Movie (2001)
Couldn't even watch 10 minutes
Great another movie with no male nudity and tons of female. As soon as 'Areola' introduced herself I was done lol. Basically just kid humour, nudity, toilet jokes, masturbation jokes etc. Cheap humour, not my style ðŸ¤
Joker (2019)
Fabulous movie.
I watched this twice in theatres one right after the other. It was beautifully done and anyone who claims they didn't like it, I find was expecting action and super heroes, or they're not a fan of slow paced movies. So if you don't need either of those then you are good to go!
Amazing acting.
The Lost Boys (1987)
There's nothing you can't love about this movie.
This is another of my top favourites. I used to watch this every day when I was a young girl and I still watch it often as an adult! Nothing is wrong with this movie, it is a must see!
The Warriors (1979)
One of my all time favourites
The cast is all there, especially James Remar's character as Ajax couldn't have been more perfect. This will continue to be a movie I always come back to and will never tire of.
Trespass (1992)
Great watch, me and my mom both had a good time.
I've loved Walter Hill since he made one of my all time favourites The Warriors. Since then I had only seen 48 hours until I started watching a lot of Bill Paxton flicks, which brought me here! It was a fun watch, interesting and good acting all around. To be able to keep a movie interesting staying in one setting the whole time can be a challenge, but he did it well.
SPOILER- only thing I would change about this movie would be the ending. Vince (B. P) was the only redeemable character and after all he went through deserved the gold far more than Brad. I thought it seemed lazy to me I guess? I would have liked the fire to have burned the bag and since Vince was a firefighter they could have wrapped it up nicely with him coming back for the gold (as it never tarnishes) as they say in the movie in his gear. Would have been some nice foreshadowing.
Frailty (2001)
Wow another Bill Paxton favourite.
I've been watching so many Bill Paxton movies lately after watching Near Dark and let me tell you, I'm in love. This movie was actually very good and in my own opinion probably his best role.
The movie is great all around, I will not spoil anything so just give this a watch and don't read too many reviews to give away the movie plot.
Days of Thunder (1990)
Watch it, it's a good flick on tier with Top Gun
This is one of the Tom Cruise classics for me. Just watched it tonight and I'm really not understanding the low rating? It has a good story, good actors etc. Some of the low ratings on here are "what could be more boring than cars??" Well all I have to say to that is WHY on earth are you watching a movie specifically about them lmao. Give it a watch, it's a good movie and good casting.
Twister (1996)
A timeless classic.
After reading all the reviews on here I was skeptical to watch this. But honestly I don't get the hate? It's good acting, good simple plot, good watch all around. Loved the one scene at the drive-in especially. Don't listen to these 4 star reviews !
Near Dark (1987)
Has become one of my favourite cult classics.
I watched this from someone mentioning this movie after reading reviews for Lost Boys (another one of my all-time favourites.) It's not like that movie at all but the soundtrack, the vibes, everything about this movie was GREAT. Loved Bill Paxton in this role which led me to watch Aliens- another new favourite.
Aliens (1986)
Wow never seen this before. Had my heart racing
I had seen Alien a couple times and I've been on a Bill Paxton kick lately so I have this a try. I LOVED THIS MOVIE. It's not common a movie can have my heart racing like this one did. Hands down great movie I'll be buying this on DVD.
