Game of Thrones: The Spoils of War (2017)
What an episode!
This episode was great from start to finish, the beginning with Jon and Dany was already a very intriguing start to the episode and the final battle was set up quite early on, with Dany constantly losing, because of Tyrion's orders and waiting too long.
We have a little scene in King's Landing with Cersei and Tycho, but nothing major there really, they just wanted Cersei to appear I guess.
Then we move onto Winterfell, where we finally see Eddard's last children reunited. Seeing the dagger again, that was meant to kill Bran in season 1 was really cool and got me quite excited. He then get the reunion of Sansa, Arya and Bran, when Bran gives the Dagger to Arya. This later on leads to an epic friendly duel between Arya and Brienne and we really see how far Arya has come.
We then go to Bronn and Jaime, marching back to King's Landing after taking Highgarden and then suddenly we hear the Dothraki and not long after Drogon. Here we get an amazing battle between Drogon and the Dothraki against the Lannister army and the Lannister army is being destroyed, when suddenly we see Bronn operating the spear created by Qyburn and I go into full panic mode, really hoping he doesn't hit Drogon, which he ends up doing. Drogon crashes and Dany has to get off him to get the spear out of him. And then we see Jaime just looking at her on his horse. Suddenly he starts charging at Dany with his spear, which creates an absolutely stunning shot, but really makes me hate him and just as he is about to get to Dany, Drogon opens his mouth at him and starts breathing fire, but fortunately for Jaime, he gets saved by who is presumed to be Bronn, could have been Dickon Tarly though. We also see Tyrion watching this battle from the hill and his reaction to Jaime charging at Dany is priceless.
Arrow: Lian Yu (2017)
Just Wow!
This episode was the season finale of Arrow Season 5 and boy did it deliver. Not only is this the best season finale across all of the Arrowverse shows, it's the best EVER episode, period. Even in the opening scene, you get Goosebumps and just seeing Oliver interact with Slade, it is so great. Oliver goes on to free his friends with the help of Slade and Digger, who was actually on Adrian's side all along. After Boomerang betrays Oliver, Nyssa and Merlyn arrive to help Oliver, causing Boomerang and Talia to flee and Evelyn getting locked up. Digger and Talia then go searching for the escapees and Digger ends up finding Malcolm standing in the middle of a path. One minute earlier Thea had stood on a landmine, so to save her, Malcolm pushed her off it and put his feet on it. When Digger arrives, he approaches Malcolm and Malcolm seemingly takes his foot off the landmine, even though this isn't seen and it could be that Digger pushed him, as all you see is the explosion from Thea's perspective and she is actually sad that Malcolm died, even though she hated him. As I don't have unlimited writing space, I won't go into too much detail still, but the final showdown in the Monastry was epic. I was very sad to see some Characters die, but the showdown was so sick. After Prometheus escape, Oliver follows him and they end up on a little boat fighting. It turns out that the whole time, William was on that boat and as it looked like Oliver had beaten Prometheus, Adrian shot himself and activated the dead man trigger causing millions of C4 explosives on the Island to go off. And that is where the episode ends. On a huge and rather brilliant cliffhanger, did Team Arrow make it off the island in time or not?
The Flash: I Know Who You Are (2017)
Worst reveal ever
So in this episode Savitar's identity was finally revealed as Barry Allen from the future. This is by far the worst reveal to ever happen in the Arrowverse, but not only because of how it was done, but because of who Savitar actually is. The fact that he is Barry Allen from the future is so disappointing and has caused me to quit the show. They could have gone for someone interesting and maybe a smaller character even but Barry Allen? He's the second character they've turned evil this season and it just makes no sense what so ever that Barry is Savitar. Barry would never turn evil no matter what.
Doctor Who: Heaven Sent (2015)
Worst. Episode. Ever
This episode was so bad it should be called Hell Sent, as that is what this episode did to me. From start to virtually the end this episode was a pile of rubbish. The only good part was seeing the Doctor on Gallifrey, right at the end, for like 5 seconds. There have been very few Episodes of Doctor Who that I didn't like, only 1 or 2 that I hated before this, but this episode, I just despised it. This episode featured 2 main characters, how can you enjoy an episode with 2 real characters, the Doctor and that Monster that hardly posed a threat, because it's as quick as a snail. And then there's the plot hole, the huge plot hole, that nobody could give me a valid explanation for; Where were the clues the first time he was sent there? Where? I want to know. As he left them there for himself, they couldn't have been there, so the answer to my question would be, exactly you figured it out, all by yourself, now isn't that nice, nowhere. Absolutely nowhere. And if you say that they were already there, then why, did, the, Doctor, have, to, leave, clues, for, himself? I just do not understand at all, how people can enjoy this episode.
The Flash: Flashpoint (2016)
Pretty great, but sadly over-hyped!
In my opinion, this Episode tried to be to far away from the Flashpoint comics. Yes, I know that the producers wanted to make it different to the comics, but they went too far off course. One thing I really would've enjoyed was Barry having no speed at the start. This was very iconic in the comics and I missed that. I also wanted the Episode to start like the comics, Barry waking up in his Lab and going out to Lunch with his Mother. He would then go on to tell her that he's the Flash and she would respond with something like (not to be racist): But he's black isn't he? Barry would then realize he's lost his powers and try to win them back, by going to Cisco, like in the episode. He would realize then, that Cisco is a billionaire and that he has no idea who Barry is, making him throw Barry out of Cisco Industries. That's enough of how I think it should be, now to the proper review: I really did enjoy this episode, very much at times, but as Barry started losing his powers in his fight against the Rival, it was extremely, and I can not emphasize that enough, cheesy. All he needed, was a pep talk from Iris? I just could not enjoy that scene. He can't suddenly remember who he is in another time line, when he has already erased those memories. The characters were the highlight of this episode. Wally West as Kid Flash was perfect. Edward Clariss, AKA The Rival, was intriguing, especially the ending, with Doctor Alchemy, but I would have preferred to have seen him being a villain from Earth 3, fighting Jay Garrick's Flash, like in the comics, but his redesigned costume is awesome. Iris is awesome in this episode, my favourite character in this episode. Joe West, sadly got a bit ruined, especially in the post-Flashpoint universe, now that he and Iris don't talk anymore. Cisco Ramon was a great character, but was just plain arrogant. Caitlin, even though only appearing briefly, was as good as ever and was Eobard Thawne. So all in all, a solid episode but over-hyped.
