Line of Duty (2012–2021)

Leaves you breathless

Here in Canada we have Line of Duty on Netflix, but only seasons 1 to 4. Can't wait until they show series 5. This show just pulls you along and you can't wait to screen the next episode culminating in many tasks not done in the home and late nights binge watching!

Gone (I) (2017–2018)

Interesting but predictable

Enjoyed the premise but disappointed in the acting of the female lead. How could she and her techie sidekick just up and go? What about her self defense pupils and where is the dog. Did the writers forget about that?

Vera (2011–2025)

Wonderful show and scenery

Look forward so much to watching each episode. Though I live on the other side of the pond now, I was brought up in the areas featured and look forward each series to seeing my old haunts whether in Newcastle or on the Northumberland coast and countryside. Can't get enough of vera. Wish there were more episodes in each series.

Good Witch (2015–2021)

The Good Witch TV Series

I had never seen the original The Good Witch Hallmark series, but was interested in seeing the new TV series, which I watched, and felt a little lost at first not having seen the earlier 2009 - 2014 shows.

I did enjoy the first two episodes which have been shown here in Canada so decided to watch the whole Hallmark series "On Demand" -from the first The Good Witch through, Garden, Gift, Family, Charm, Destiny and then sat down to enjoy Wonder. But "Wonder", shown in 2014, was not listed, so I have missed the final one before the TV series.

I have read the previous critiques of the new series and must concur that something is missing from the originals. Whether it is the loss of the chemistry between Jake and Cassie or the fact it is now a much shorter show, I cannot say, but will continue to watch and, hopefully, one day may catch up with The Good Witch's Wonder.!!!!
