Finally a romantic comedy centered around a female character exploring her relationship fears and flaws without shame. These gems are few and far between, and are only possible when women themselves are in positions to develop the narratives and create the work.
I appreciate everything about this show, it brings so much laughter and joy. If I am having a bad day, I know I can press play on the first scene of Season 1, Episode 2 and my mood will immediately brighten- that is the true power of entertainment. I hope for/look forward to many more seasons (aka series for you Brits 😊) to come!
