Boring and Predictable War Crime Court Room Drama

What a boring and predictable movie. Within 10 minutes I knew how this would play out. An old man is murdered. The murder reveals himself without restraints. It was obvious he was out for revenge. Both men were in their seniors ages so they must have cross path during WWII. The murderer refuse to talk so it's obvious he suffered some kind of tragedy probably a family member murdered during the war. There's going to be some kind heinous war act shown somewhere in the movie because the director wants to get people's emotions riled up so that we would feel bad for the victim.

The soon to be defendant young lawyer enters the court room and take on the case. I knew immediately he's going to be this naive lawyer who's going to struggle at the begin and the case will not be in favor til the end. He will try to juggle is personal life and the case. Then later he will find truth and the verdict will be in his favor. This is the typical court room drama where an underdog lawyer defeats all odd.

This movie is so predictable. I've seen this plot line too many times with Hollywood movies. Anyways I can't believe I sat excruciatingly through the entire movie to see if all my prediction came through and I was 100% spot on. The beginning of the movie was all about the lawyer life which was uninteresting, disorganized and lacking strong personality. The 2nd half of the movie the lawyer finally works hard to research the defendant history and soon reveal everything I've already predicted. The ending was lame and dumb it baffles my mind how many people would up vote this movie.

The Birdcatcher (2019)

Everything about this is FAKE!

The history, timeline and culture of this movie did not seem fitting. It seems all too conveniently made up and some stolen ideas out of Europa Europa which is the one of the greatest movie ever made. The main lead character is just looks stupid and unrelatable. At times she act like a snobby bitch when the people who took her in treats her like family. Sorry but I didn't feel any sympathy for her character. The only person I had somewhat of a connection was the cheating wife who's going through a marriage crises and the disabled son. The ending didn't work either. It felt cut and dry. I don't recommend this.

Inherit the Viper (2019)

Surprisingly Good.

This movie was surprising good and one of the best thriller I've seen in a long time. The ending was gripping and will lead you to all kinds of emotions. The acting between the three main character was outstanding. Hollywood these days have been making unoriginal story lines, remakes and super heroes fantasy movies which I can barely sit through an entire movie. However, I sat through this one compelled at the plot and twist. It was original and great. I'm just baffled why the rating is so low and why there isn't that much reviews. Definitely give this one a watch if you love the crime thriller genre.

The Good Liar (2019)

It Started Out Interesting But Got Too Woke At The End For Me

The movie started out interesting. Midway it was clear and started to become predictable. The ending was exactly how I predicted it. It was a simple revenge movie. However, the wokeness added into the ending plot was god awful. It just didn't work and it was awkward. 1/10 .

Black Panther (2018)

Over Hyped and Unrealistic

I kept an open mind but end up feeling disappointed. The story line was bland, the acting was mediocre and there was too much cgi that the entire movie felt like a child's fantasy land. This was over hyped and over rated.

The Killing (2011–2014)

Potentially Could Be Great but Main Actor Unwatchable

The series could potentially have been a great series but due to the main character horrible acting it is deem unwatchable for me. She is plain and lacking a personality. It's so hard to watch when you can't relate to the main character. I don't feel sorry for her problems and most of the time I keep on hoping they kill of this character and replace it with a new lead actress. It's unfortunate because I love mystery and thrillers and was looking forward to this series based on the positive review. I'm speaking based on the first season and that's where it ends for me. I hear there is an original British version. Maybe I will give that a try instead.

Revolution (2012–2014)

I Couldn't Stand to Watch Another Minute

I sat through 3 excruciating episode only because it was in the science fiction genre. I love science fiction but this show is horribly executed. I though the concept of the show was great. I just find the acting horrible and the scene is unrealistic. Especially the lead young character Charlie who every minute I spend watching through her screen time was painful. Her character is super annoying and unlikable. She is one of the many horrible actors on the show. I can't believe this show even made it on to 2nd season. Sigh. I just wished they have chosen better actors and loosen up the characters for me to have a positive feeling about the show. This is a failed attempt to what could be a great show.

Rectify (2013–2016)

Simply a well though out series and one of the best

There are so many cool series out there right now that it's hard decide if this or that is worth your time committing to. Rectify is not just another cool show it's a brilliant series that should not even be debatable weather or not to watch.

The details surrounding the main character and the people around him is what makes this show outstanding. It focuses on what life could be like after 19 years of solitary and adds all sort of mystery plot to keep it entertaining. The mystery of whether the main character is innocent or not isn't even the icing of the story. For me, having to keep guessing how he is going to move forward in life is what keeps me emotionally attracted to the main character and to the story line. I don't even know whether to feel sorry for him or the people surrounding him more. Too many have sacrifice themselves for him and some have paid a harsh price because of him.

There is some serious acting going on here. All the character is so convincing that I was drawn into the show immediately from beginning to end. The actors in this series should be reviewed for award nominations, especially the main character, the sister, the mom, his half brother and his wife.
