Nocturnal Animals (2016)
Slow, Boring and Not Interesting. I stopped watching because I was falling asleep.
As a Guiding Principle, I will watch any movie with Amy Adams or Isla Fisher. They were both in this movie.
Having said that, I did not appreciate being bamboozled by a series of extremely obese dancing naked chicks at the beginning of the movie. There should have been a warning about that. It was all in slow motion and their fat rolls were flabbing up and down so much that I almost barfed.
The actual movie was boring and I stopped it about one hour in because I couldn't stay awake.
Patriots Day (2016)
Top-notch Flick
This was one of the greatest movies I've ever seen. Wahlberg is one of the best actors of our day and was phenomenal in this movie. I liked how they mixed in actual surveillance footage of the Muslim terrorists who bombed the marathon into the actual movie. The actors who played the Muslim terrorists looked a lot like the actual terrorists so it was more real. This would have been a great movie even if it was just a regular action movie that wasn't a true story. The people who think that this movie is "spreading hate and not love" need to send that message to the Muslim terrorists who murdered innocent people instead of the people who made this movie about a true story.
Intervention (2005)
Very addicting show
Whenever I watch this show, which is one of my favorites besides Forensic Files, 48 Hours and Seinfeld, I wonder how these people are still breathing. The episode I watched last night featured a woman who drank twenty (20) beers per day (8% alcohol by volume) and lived with her parents. She lost six (6) jobs due to drinking on the job! She started drinking at an early age and was even hammered at her wedding - two years into her marriage, her husband got tired of her guzzling beer so he divorced her. Then she started drinking like crazy, like that would solve the problem, and when she had to take drug/alcohol tests for probation, she would start huffing paint since it wouldn't show up on a test. Wow. She even got so hammered one time that she pulled down her pants and took a crap on a stranger's vehicle while people were laughing at her and filming her. Why do parents keep enabling people like this by giving them money? She was admitted to the hospital on more than one occasion and had a BAC of 0.49!! Good Lord. On the way to the hospital, she called her mom a "*itch" and her mom just kept driving...if I said that to my mom, I would have been slapped into the year 2049. I used to drink but stopped after realizing that there's no point - these people think it solves problems but it does the opposite by creating problems.
Money Monster (2016)
Started okay but got boring quickly
The first 20 minutes of this movie were suspenseful and interesting but then it got boring very quickly. The most annoying thing about this movie is that Hollywood liberals (i.e. Jodie Foster, George Clooney and Julia Roberts) clearly have no clue how markets operate. The entire movie insinuates that when people lose money in the market, it's a direct result of an unscrupulous, greedy, evil CEO who stole money from the company, in this case $800,000,000, and used it to manipulate the stock price by making a bet. On top of that, the $800,000,000 "vanished" OVERNIGHT and nobody had a clue where it went. Even the CFO. Do not ever watch this retarded movie.
Grimsby (2016)
Funniest movie I've seen in years
This was easily the funniest movie I've seen in 8 years.
Sacha Baron Cohen is hilarious. This movie is definitely not politically correct, which is why it's hilarious!
I rarely pause a movie because I'm laughing so hard but I had to a couple of times during this movie.
I'm sure that a lot of people will be offended by the humor, but nobody is forcing them to watch it.
The story was also great and the action scenes were very well done.
If you want to laugh at clever and witty humor, then watch this.
It's also crude but that's another reason that it's hilarious.
The Revenant (2015)
Boring.........
Slow and boring!
It's basically 2+ hours of watching a half-dead guy crawl through the snow.
A waste of time.
It was humorous when after being mauled by a grizzly bear and receiving no medical attention, he manages to escape into class 5 rapids without drowning.
He's wearing 200 pounds of clothes but manages to stay afloat through all of that.
Okay.
