Well researched movie about one of the greatest yet controversial Urdu writer. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is terrific as manto..full credit goes to director.. Must watch for every pure cinema lover.. Wish this movie could have been successful in box office also.. Highly recommend..

Everytime we think about the downfall of Bollywood, films like Badhai ho actually raise the bar of Bollywood with panache.. oh man what a simple , sweet and yet emotionally blended entertaining film.. I must say even Hollywood can't handle such a risky topic with so much light mannered that even viewers become part of the "kaushikS" family circus.. Kudos to Ayushman Khurrana for choosing such a delicate topic.. Every actors have done their best in this hilarious family drama. Forget not to mention Dadi..she is the who deserves an award for supporting category..2018 will be remembered for Khurrana for "delivering" this gem..Well done badhai ho team.. Keep entertaining us with such type of gems..

I must say this show is simply outstanding in terms of family values specially middle class dilemma about parenting of growing their children..90's kid will cherish every single moment of this wonderful show.. Acting wise everyone has done a great job specially child actors.. Please TVF bring such type of another show soon or at least Yeh Meri Family season 2...

Well this movie is sweet replica of our mundane life which becomes sometime sweet sometimes sour..But life is all about giving love, understanding each other's feeling , which is shown in the movie very subtly.. complexity in protagonist's daily life shown so delicately that we intend to emphasize for him.. This is one of the realistic and relevant film of our times.. Acting wise all actors are top class.. specially Sanjay Mishra..what an actor.. can't believe he can ever be better than Ankhon Dekhi..But he delivers like he owns it.. Another feather in the cap of our Indian cinema.. Please do watch it whatever digital platform you have..

PINK is the new BLACK of our Cinema...

It will be early to say that how much amount this revolution called PINK will earn at the Box Office.. But one thing is sure that it has already earned billions of hearts.. Pink is not only a film which intends to entertain us.. It tells us to introspect ourselves. It questions and hits hard our narrow minded and perverted society. The question is what will make a difference by a movie when we our-self don't want to change our mindset. My take on this is that Cinema is itself a powerful medium.. And it can reflect the very definition of social reforms.. But the big problem lies in our Director's vision of achieving success by means of box office only.. But yes unlike our popular Cinema, Regional cinema is showing more aptness towards blatant social issues, be it Marathi masterpiece Sairat or Oscar contending Tamil movie Visaranai… Coming back to Pink, we must reckon here every aspect related to this film is truly admirable.. be it screenplay, story , acting or direction…Acting of the leading three girls (Tapsee, Kriti & Andrea) are top notch.. After Piku, Amitabh Bachchan acts as if he is nothing but a powerhouse of superlative acting.. Rest of the cast are equally delectable whenever they got their screen presence.. Special mention to Piyush Mishra.. He just nailed it, the way he argues in the court.. This kind of cinema gives a hope to our mediocre Hindi cinema, when we expect least from it.. Final word for my review ..This film is made by heart , intended to make a society free of prejudices, Feudal mindset and many evil notions that we face everyday..

Fan (I) (2016)

Fantastic roller-coaster ride with Truly Global Superstar..

This film was supposed to be the masterful triumph to prove him once again after some buffoonish kind of film in recent times.. And what a bounceback by Shahrukh Khan... Fan not only restored my faith in The SRK's acting prowess, but also made me think that his superstardom is nowhere to go despite some doldrums... This film was never meant to be a perfect Masala potboiler.So earning money in the Box Office is never a concern...coz a lot of crap films like Prem Ratan Dhan Payo,Happy New Year etc are not only earning money but also considered a blockbuster in Bollywood.. What a shame..It seems we Indian's haven't evolved since the inception of Mumbai cinema.. I must reckon the fact that most of the coveted 100 crore films are nothing but a piece of trash.. Of course without few exceptions...

Now let's talk about the possibility of winning hearts by Shahrukh via his latest gem 'FAN'...He is just not a superstar, he is truly a national icon..So he doesn't need to prove his acting prowess at this point.. Still FAN is going to return his 'a bit diminished glory' into a spectacular manner for sure... I don't think that I need to review this piece of magnificent delight.. Go watch in the nearby theatres... Note: (Fan and 'Non-Fan'of SRK will be agreed by my point aforesaid until they watch this summer thriller.)

Drishyam (2015)

Gripping tale of a common man going up to zenith of deception for his family.

"Visuals can be deceptive" the tag line of the movie was the perfect description of any Hindi movie of recent times.I must reckon with the fact that it was quite challenging for a Hindi film to exceed effortlessly with the obvious comparison of original drishyam (Malayalam).At an era of trash films produced in bollywood , this film's success implicates that Hindi cinema is not finished yet...Suspense thrillers are not the cup of tea of Indian cinema lovers...Still this film is a hit which makes a welcome change about the mind of Indian cinema audiences who are accepting such genre of films...Here i will not review this film...but yes i will surely recommend..Superb acting of entire cast specially Tabu and Ajay Devgan. Watch this film and feel the sensation of suspense in your vein... PS:Second half of the film is the best part..First half could be better.
