Nymphomaniac: Vol. II (2013)
Intense
It's a good movie and despite the fact that I was very fond of the chapter one, this was more intense and approached subjects that I as mother found very unpleasant. Nevertheless I could understand the character I also could deny her behaviour.
Nymphomaniac: Vol. I (2013)
Philosophical POV of woman desire
This movie talks about woman sexuality in a way that I never saw. It portray's woman sexual nature in a deep way. And despite the fact that there were lots of nudity and sex scenes it felt more like a research.
Although I was looking for an erotic movie and the title was very appealing for my goal, after watching this film I have to say that it's an erotic one. It gave me more to think about than the pleasure or satisfaction that I was looking for.
And I don't say to censure the director or the writer because that's not my intention. I say it because I'm astonished by the fact that the director could picture it as drama movie and not as a porn one and also by the fact that he (as a man) could picture this story in a way that I (as woman) could recognise myself in some moments.
Notwithstanding I'm recommended you to watch this, I may say that it show sex and desire in philosophical point of view, so in order you can take a good time, you have to watch this with no prejudice or moral fervor.
Black·ish (2014)
The best
One of the best tv-show I ever seen. I've been learning a lot about racism, slavery, feminism and equality. Despite I do not live in America where I live we have similar problems but is more hided and covered.
I can only say that there is a lot to do for more equal rights between us all and the success of tv-shows like Black-ish is a great thing.
Gabriel's Inferno: Part One (2020)
Poor action job, poor scenarios, poor...
I can't say it was a bad movie. But it wasn't good either. During all the time I had this felling that there were something missing.
The action job of Giulio Berruti wasn't bad, but I can't say the same from Melanie Zannetti. Their chemistry looks forced. When she looks to him rememberers me a child looking for something magical.
The scenarios were poorly designed, their light were awful. The soundtrack were not bad, but there is such great baroque songs to choose instead of these. Maybe opera would sound better in some scenes.
The only good thing is that the director and screenplay writer remained loyal to the book in almost everything. It was almost like if I was reading it, but I may say that those beautiful books deserve a lot better and if they want to do at least a good movie, they should put more budget on it. They weren't a teenager romance like Twilight.
