Trump vs. Bernie 2016 Debate Tour (2016)
Terrible
Why on earth is there one of these shows let alone several of them? Each one is worse than the last. It is just two quite bad impersonations telling horrible jokes. It is super boring and not funny one bit.
Trump vs. Bernie: Shout the Vote (2016)
No. Just No.
How did this even get made? The impressions are not very good (not terrible but certainly not good). The writing is awful with bad old jokes. Why even make this thing?
The President Show (2017)
Unfunny
I can't stand Trump the lying moron, but this show just is not funny. The same tired old jokes and a bad impression on top of that. What is the point of this show?
Trump vs. Bernie: Debate for America (2016)
Tired
This is an unfunny special with very tired old jokes and the impressions are not very good.
Ernest Scared Stupid (1991)
I Love Ernest!
I love Ernest and I don't care who knows it!
Sure this movie isn't Citizen Kane but I remember going to the movies with a couple friends to watch it as a kid and we had a lot of fun. It's a great family movie and Ernest is a huge goof but he also has a great heart.
Just watch it without expecting much and have a few laughs and a lot of smiles.
Strange Brew (2010)
Funny
I actually saw this movie accidentally because when I saw it in the TV listings I thought it was the movie Strange Brew: The Adventures of Bob and Doug McKenzie, which of course is an all time comedy classic that makes me open my mouth and say "ha ha ha!" because I think it is really funny.
I still watched the movie because Laurie Metcalf is in it and she's hilarious and also a good actress. I'm glad I watched it because it's a funny movie.
Just not as funny as the other Strange Brew. Remember that scene where they drive their van into the lake? Ha ha ha! Spoiler for another movie! Look out!!!
Mr. Dressup (1967)
A Great Children's Show!
This was a great children's show. I'm still very saddened that Ernie Coombs passed away because he was a fantastic TV show host who you could tell was an incredibly nice man who genuinely cared about children and enjoyed doing the show.
It was a pretty simple format with Coombs as "Mr. Dressup" showing kids how to do drawings, doing simple crafts, talking with his puppet friends Casey and Finnegan, and of course always putting on one of his costumes from his "tickle trunk".
I wish there was still a simple show with a host like Mr. Dressup today, but at least a ton of these episodes were made so hopefully they're available on DVD or will be replayed by CBC forever!
