The Beatles: Get Back (2021)
History at it's best
As a huge fan, I was looking forward to see what Peter Jackson has done with the wealth of material. It was amazing how clear the video and how the sound worked, perfect.
I have a few comments, I agree there was a lot that could have taken out, it was way to long. I could see the people who grew up with the Beatles would love it but the younger people who didn't know much about it would have left after an hour. Also I don't understand why it ended with the roof concert. There was still the rest of the album that they worked on that was left out. Recording Let It Be, George's songs, Child of Nature... were ignored.
It is good to see that the Beatles did get along well at the end but to much clowning around for so many hours and not seeing one song performed from the beginning to the end was frustrating, as soon as they starting singing, it was cut to another time. Beside the roof concert there wasn't one song performed from the beginning to the end.
Mom and Dad (2017)
I don't get it?
Great film, loved the action, love the actors (not a Cage fan), but why is it they can never come up with an ending so they just "cut it". My suggestion to all those people that think they are super film makers, creating a film is like writing a book, you have to catch your audience in the first paragraph and have a bloody ending. If you can't come up with an ending then don't do the movie.
