Extraction 2 (2023)
The only good thing is that its on TV so you can fast fwd to end
Below average plot, below average dialogues.
Mr Hemsworth is on point with his delivery but perhaps needed a better crew around . Nik the woman did fine too with her acting. Yass on the other hand not so much.
Action is good but felt out of place many times. At times it feels like the movie is trying for Playstation gaming sort of experience but it doesn't.
The overall story plot and many dialogues are not in sync with the level of motivation, twists shown on screen e.g. One the hero's motivation to get back into the deadly game is weak and too quick. Then his super recovery of 5 mins from can't walk to superhero action figure is non justice in today's very informed world on how physiology works. Felt like Chris walked into 20th century movie with 21st century tech. The movie disappoints quite a lot
The only benefit was that it was on Netflix and you can fast forward to end and go to bed early.

Do watch Scifi thriller with Goosebump twists
Just finished watching and I totally enjoyed watching this movie. Almost every scene of it. Glued to the couch. That's good execution by all the film crew. Actors did the job well. They were not exceptional but i guess that was intended by the director.
There are twists and turns. You hypothesise about where the story goes next but it doesn't go that way most of the time. Goosebumps always good sign.
This is good cinema. Different story for Bollywood and well executed. And who other than the bold Anurag Kashyap to direct.
I'd recommend this movie for a first time viewer who likes to watch sci fictional thrillers/ parallel universe concepts.
Aged generations may not prefer this (based on the low score given by my folks who watched alongside).
Note that I saw this movie as a first (so no pre-set expectation or a comparison baseline). Didnt know about the spanish version from 2018 and didnt know about the english version from 1965 and not the novel from 1952.
If I had known the story, then perhaps I would not have had the same experience (i.e if the stories are the same across all)
Hope this helps. Enjoy.

Beautifully done!
Beautiful story , marvellously done. Brave and sensual at the same time. Captures the kindness and fear of people of the time. Loved the cinematography.
