The Truth About Jim (2024)

Sequel: "I mean't he might be Jim Jones or ....."

Shockingly bad. My wife and I both made it through all four episodes. We fast forwarded it a little. It was like conquering a high mountain. I think those most entertaining part was the lack of "Truth" the title hinted at.

Because there is such a huge amount of speculation I tend to wonder if even his accusers are telling the truth.

I have lost a lot of respect for HBO.

This is like watching a train wreck we could not stop watching.

Some of the characters that we brought into this show as experts tried their best to make sure the main characters didn't feel foolish. Good for them.

Bottom line - sad stuff.

Meh- Close it out.

They are clearly trying to drag this out because they don't have enough to complete this. One of the greatest shows ever is not finishing well.

This "Breaking Bad" episode is another dragger.

I am also getting tired of Saul duping and ripping people off. How many different ways can Saul deceive people!

I now realize that he is not someone likable in the slightest.

Wow! Don't even know what to say. The last two episodes suck but this was .... Wow. Very breaking bad ish. I hope the momentum continues. Shocking! "You do it for fun." He was absolutely right. They both are ass hats.

Maybe the worst

This episode delivered very little- i vote the worst episode of the whole series. I know there was information needed.. I guess ... but just drags. Reminds me of the last season of Mad Men. It's doesn't seem to be finishing strong. Pretty disappointing.

This is sooo funny - don't get the poor reviews. Very clever writing and great delivery. Very enjoyable. The pilot episode hooked us in and we were off to the races.

No Time to Die (2021)

Good end to the Craig Bond - the best bond

So good - from start to finish. I think I am done with the series. No one can touch Daniel Craig and his intensity.

Action sequences are gripping and not as fake looking as the previous bonds.

This is a great series with flashes of BB brilliance but as a whole it's no where Near it's greatness.

Concerning this finale. Eh. In the Words of my wife "one the most lame season finale's". I Agree. 9.4 stars? I am convinced that people just rate it high no matter what the episode has to offer. Last episode was awesome but they've flubbed the finale. In particular, the jimmy Kim Wexler sequences were absolutely boring. Honestly I could care less about what's going on with them.

Only because of the leading up to Breaking Bad am I looking forward to next season. This episode did nothing to warrant "cliff hanger."

Susan Oliver is fantastic. This is another episode that makes TAGS unique, not only does TAGS show comedy at its best but the real life experiences.

The Kid (II) (2019)

A very unique telling a familiar story. Christ Pratt is actually scary how good he was as the bad guy, he went outside the box and hit a homer rum! Ethan Hawk looked as if he belonged in the old west, tremendous Performance.

I titled it "raw" cause it's not pretty. It seemed very authentic.

My wife and I both enjoyed this film - mostly do to the characters.

American Sniper (2014)

One of the Most powerful movies.

My nephew did three tours in this same area and said "Of all the movies depicting the war over there this one by far captured the feeling."

My wife and I attended this and were glued to it from start to finish. Bradley Cooper was believable and Eastwoods directing was stellar. The horrors of war and how war effects our troops is depicted in a very real way.

I noticed a few 1 star reviews- come on! If you have an ax to grind then you'll find what your looking for and be offended. But 1 star? I suspect its jealous haters because the film is DOMINATING the Box office.

Powerful powerful film.
