Green Street 3: Never Back Down (2013)
Scott Adkins the movie?
This was even worse than Green Street 2 and that was pretty bad. I did however enjoy Scott Adkins in this movie. The man has some incredible skills. I did prefer him as Yuri Boyka (The most complete fighter in the world) and this was nowhere near that performance however a few nifty moves but him at-least a little watchable in the movie.
The football is just a tiny background on this movie which was what Green Street was all about. You don't even see a player kick a ball and there's only one tiny scene with the GSE at a game. They should of left Green Street out of this movie and just made one of those low budget fighting movies we see every year.
I Spit on Your Grave 2 (2013)
Just a remake of the first. Very disappointing.
This is exactly the same story line as I Spit on Your Grave the only difference being the location and the occupation of the victim/avenger.
When I watched this, I thought they might of changed it up just a little bit but apparently not, they kept everything just about the same. The crime of the men exactly the same (Although to be fair, I can't think of a different scenario which requires so much anger to be relieved), the killing scenes, almost identical and it's easy to predict what is going to happen next. This one however, seemed a lot more brutal than the original and I actually nearly threw up when she drowned that guy in the toilet full of faeces....
Prisoners (2013)
Very good watch although very simple to work out.
I went to watch this at the cinema at a completely random time while out shopping with a friend. This was the movie which was on closest to the time we arrived so we decided to watch it. I had no knowledge of the movie having never seen any trailers for it or ever hearing about it but I'm glad to say we were not disappointed.
Although knowing the supposed crimes of Keller's kidnapped victim, you can't help but feel a slight wave of emotion and pity towards him as he is being tortured.
Although this film is supposed to have a twist at the end, I honestly had it worked out halfway through the movie and knew exactly what was going on.
Never the less, it still had me gripped as to what would still happen next from start to the very end.
