Are You There, Chelsea? (2012)
I like it!!
I genuinely look forward to watching Chelsea flesh itself out as time progresses, because as it stands now (and in the second episode, to a slightly less degree), the show faces the challenge of actually being about something. Then again, with so few series on right now starring women who don't regularly get degraded by men, maybe there's a place for it to just hang out after all. Tough evaluating the show so early, but personally I like Laura Prepon and always enjoyed Chelsea Handlers style of humor. I am still a little confused how so many can show disapproval of a show that has aired once? Sorry but I'm taking the high road on this one.
2 Broke Girls (2011)
best 20 min sit com fall 2011!!
Plain and simple, I do not over analyze the shows I watch and they are few. I believe 2 broke girls progressed nicely, the writing and acting appeared to have settled in with more confidence as the season past. Personally I love the show and hope it will continue, half hour show are difficult for me to get into, since two and a half men this is the show that does it for me. The girls certainly complement each other, the cast works fine just the way it is, I hope they do not hack it up to badly if they decide it needs changing. Enough with the law and crime stuff, some of the2011 falls 60 min. shows looked promising, those 30 min. shows are tough. I hope they don't give up on this one. If you haven't watched it yet I strongly suggest you give it a look see.
Friends with Benefits: The Benefit of Friends (2011)
Great Show!!
"Friends With Benefits" is a great show! Why has it been kept a secret? Here in Boston this show is finally getting around, anyone I know who has watched a least a couple episodes really likes it. I put it up on Facebook and got lot's of positive feed back. Originally when a friend told me about the show, I googled it and pretty much wrote it off, it really got trashed. I kept hearing references at work on the show, so I watched it, and loved it! If they don't cancel it first this show, for me, will probably take the place of 2 1/2 Men. Also originally announced as one of NBC's five new comedies for the current season, it's the last one standing: with a month to go in the season, "Outsourced," "Perfect Couples," "The Paul Reiser Show" and "Love Bites" have all been shown and canceled. Sometimes being forgotten has its benefits I guess!
