Hotel Transylvania: Transformania (2022)
I like this....
Its not perfect, even though Brian Hill does a decent Drac, your can really hear both in accent and voice its not Adam Sandler. Tog can hear it already in the opening song. I do think they could and should not do more movies in this franchise. But if they were, it cute be a fun story to tell how unhappy Drac is about what happening to his beloved hotel because his Daughter Maven and Johnny now have the reins. Maybe even have a clause in the contract that makes him be able to take charge. Could be fun story to explore
What good with these hotel a Transsylvania movies is I think there story telling is quite organic and in sense logical.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)
Really enjoyed this movie
For me it's s worthy successor, and even better than than Ghostbusters II. Yes it's lost of so called fan-service, but for once there is a real feeling like the original cast let there legacy go to there takeovers. In this place, they're kids. Star Wars and other shows should learn from this. Now they could do an all female cast, or male for that matter, and be characters that isn't gender swapped. It's kinda sad the so female version don't fit into this universe at all, but now at least it could go on without the old people. But it was great seeing them again. The kids did do great as possible a younger team into the future.
The Good Doctor: Gender Reveal (2021)
I do like the characters, but the wokness makes the sure hard to watch
I love Leas and Shauns relationship.
I love Clair's to care about everything
I Morgan's and Park's teasing and trying to be more mean. I could go on with this list, but this men bad, white bad, and then there are some stuff that even could be considered direct lies.
The show is doing this , it's harder for women in society lie and of course the lie that women gets worse treatments then men because science is made on men. I could take up the breastcancer and prostatacancer as an example. There is more men getting getting prostatacancer than women getting breastcancer. Much more. But do we talk about this condition that men dies from, no we don't. We talk about the breastcancer that mostly female get, thats not even that huge at all. Breastcancer is getting more funds than the other and there for more research. It's a lie and had been for quite some time. The world isn't harder for women. Because of name affirmative actions women do get not special treatment, easier to get quotas on their side. Kinda like university. There was to small amount of women back in the day. They did quotas, and today is the other way around. But instead of letting men have the same possibilities when men are in the minority on campuses make governments of the world removed this quitas. Sweden is among these countries that really funny care that men ain't attending universities, sand those who are searched the field where women still don't apply for. And the state still believe it's too much men on universities. No it's sad, but this show is crap. Sadly i care but the characters so continue watching hoping the wokness would subside.
Pleasure (2021)
Sadly dont know what to say?
THe only thing I wonder is, how these so called people in the buisness could accept be in this movie, who probably do not show the porn-industry in the best light at all? Did they know it would be a story about misogony? A story to kinda get more water to the people against porn, than the people that believe porn is a expression of free speach or art?
Dont get this movie at all? Especially the Bella Character is in sense a really not good person, and only wants to get up into the A-list of stars and dont even support of close friend of need. No. Not a good movie. Dont get the superlatives media gives it? Is it because its made by a woman, perhaps and not a man?
Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World (1998)
Was good until The end.
This device movie kinda destroys what was good with the first one. The John Smith and Pocahontas lovestory. I never really liked John Rolfe and didn't want those two to get together. I will forget zi ever saw this movie.
Father Christmas Is Back (2021)
Not a very good movie...
But some scenes are kinda funny. Good actors, well they normally are. But I did enjoy the movie in the middle. But the problem is the checkpoint token character boxes. We knows right away that one of the sisters is gay, its no secret at all to be frank. But when the movie kept us from really confirming that she was gay, I was kinda getting more into this movie, because it felt like maybe they was going to fool us. This women was maybe only dressed in this way and really just Hetero. But no, in the middle of the movie, it was revealed she was the Token lesbian/Htbq character. And for me i spoiled the movie quite a lot. Because you saw it a mile away. It would have been better if she wasnt lesbian. We have of course a token Gay guy as well, and the Token black guy. But I kinda liked this guy, because for once he wasnt from the hood, but a successfull black guy.
It was ok at best as a movie... I know some people had the opinion that squill from Nathalie cox's character Caroline, was abnoxious, I actually thought it was endearing and kinda cute. I do have to say that some of this movie did remind me of a Swedish (much better) Christmas-comedy "In Bed With Santa" especially this part when the sister Joanna (Elisabeth Hurley) forgotten a pregnancy test in Caroline toilet, so Caroline Husband Pet (Krish Marshall) found it and believed his wife had had been having an affair and was pregnant. It is kinda like this situation when Sara (played by Katarina Ewerlöf) tells her beloved husband (at that time) Janne (Played by Peter Haber), that she was indeed pregnant with his love child. But the funny story is, the Janne has done a disectomy and couldn't have children, so he though the worst that she had an affair, and blamed all her former partners wich also attend this christmas party. Janne even blames Santa Claus. This movie is funny as heck, but this (as I said) is just ok.
The Rookie: Triple Duty (2021)
Ok again not horrible
But again about this systemic rasism stuff. I don't care bout that storyline. I really hope its out of the way now. There was more good than bad, sadly west storyline is just bad, so now will his next issue be, that he's gay?
The Rookie: Amber (2021)
Ok, wont give this one a high grade this time around.
To be honest. NOlan, Lucy, Grey, Tim, Nyla, Angela is really great characters, but this show doesnt earn the right to use them, to be honest. Sure its not a disaster this time. But its in sense back again to woke anti-police politics... again. DIdnt the show learn about bad writing from episode two till six? Obviously not.
But why I give this episode an ok grade is because this time around, they did at least try to explain why policing sometimes gets so wrong. Just like all people, police-officers are just that... People. They do make misstakes, but as the show says, majority of these people are good policeofficers and good persons.
So at least there was both sides this time around. The discussion was there, but not really, because it was rigged from getgoing.
The Rookie: Bad Blood (2021)
Okey,
Seems like the five deep.down episodes have ended, and in sense I'm happy I did continue watching, despite saying I give this show up. But two good episode, maybe this is a turnng point for bad writing and the show is getting good again?
The Rookie: True Crime (2021)
For once an watchable episode
With no political themes, except for this sexism scene between Tim and Lucy. For once a episode, that actually isnt worth 9, but I am getting it that rank, just because the people doing this show, should probably see what really works, than whats not.
The Rookie: Revelations (2021)
I do care bout many character
But the anti-polic and again feminism, rasism and all that is just. I wouldn't mind one or two episodes about the crap, but nowe its every darn single episode. Nolan has to defend himself and his colleges constantly, just because he is white. Who the heck grinlit this disaster???
The Rookie: Lockdown (2021)
Okey, I'll give up
This is the 4th episode about the same stuff as the other... bad cops, rasism and so on. Its not a funny show anymore... sorry.
Sonic the Hedgehog (2020)
Really enjoyed this movie
And Jim Carrey is back with a vengence. He hasnt been so good, as Ace Ventura Pet Detective. James Marsden did also really good. And Sonic, even though the animation could have been more livelike, it was also pretty good. The visual effects was outstanding sometimes. A must see.
Away: Half the Sky (2020)
Ok, and now we're back at some tokenism...
First it's starting to get ridiculous. How is it possible to call from that distance. There is no explanation? Have Nasa put you lots of communications satellites all over our solarsystem? When they were closer to earth I didn't have a problem, because of tech at that time could have done that possible. But not that far out.
And of course the token gay couple. The members are diverse ofcourse with the token female commander. If course Nasa it's led by a woman. Of course men don't really lead anymore, but they're not strong. The token male chauvinist sure he is just sad and lonely.
I wish this things wasn't in the does because of the story because it's not.
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
Dont know what to say.... Its not crap but its not good either.
To be honest, the movie is kinda into a fire, going out, then going into a new fire. DOnt like that They does so much call back to original movies, and not Prequel but sure there was some Prequel stuff in voice acting. Again Rey goes against Kylo, and of course, she defeats him... Dont think he never ever took her down. And we Saw Rey kicking Lukes ass in TLJ and this time Luke gets ass kicked by his own sister Leia during training montage. What is it about all these weak men?
And why is the movie called Rise of Skywalker, when the last Skywalker gets killed in the end, after giving life to our favorite heorine (not) Rey that kinda gets killed. Why doest she stay dead, the ultimate sacriface. That would have done so much to her arch. And Kylo should have been the last Skywalker. Noh.... sorry Disney. If you just dead whats needed. 3 new movies WITH the original characters, and then in the ninth leave it to the new cast, and then make three new movies with Rey, Poe and so on. Instead of this.... I am sorry. I wanted to like it, and there was stuff I did like. Sure.
One thing though. Remember those rumours that told that Luke was going to do this grand force thing in the TLJ? It was said he was to pull down a star destroyer. But as we all know, that didnt happen. He got to be the coward that was hidden. Sure, they did try to change Rey to a more insecure heroin this time. But it was a little to much a little to late. She just ran away when she wasnt sure about where her loyalies was. But that was just for a short second. She did though do this pulling down a starship with the force thing close to the Luke Rumour.
And why remove Rose that much. sure she wasnt annoying this time around, but she was one of the head characters and didnt get anything in sense to do this time around. If they wrote her like this in TLJ, she would have been much more liked. But in stead she got this cringe character in TLJ. Here she was much cooler, and should definately had more screen play this time around.
But cant forgive Disney for killing off Luke like they did. And all these small pointing that Luke wasnt really that powerful, he will always loose to a woman, in sense.
So, yes its better than TLJ, but its still isnt good. ALl this so called Trilogy from Disney, seems like they jumped so much history before TLJ and Rise of Skywalker, kinda like 2 movies are missing.
October Faction (2020)
This is just ridiculous
Warning, there is things that could be considered spoilers down below!!
Ok, I think the show is kinda ok. And the first episode I was thinking that
this show could get kinda high rating. But then the first thing happend. The son is gay or something. Ok. Lets forget that this time around. NOt that its destroyng any of the story or anything. So I let it slide. By the way. There is ok to have gay persons in a show.
Then I watched the second episode. And already in the beginning, we have this muslim agent cople that gets killed. Ok, now I just think this is ridiculous. Are the writers having a list that they're following? What will happen in the third episode, a lesbian couple, or some person that dont wanna call them self for a man or a woman? One of those HBTQ something someting, people?
Its definately ok to have such people in the stories, but it cant be so obvious WHY they are in the stories? They are just there to cater to a special loud voiced mass of people that wants a needs representation.
I really hope this isnt the case, so I can return and maybe give this a higer rating. Because in sense its not at all bad. But these obvious token characters that gets into todays shows makes no SENSE.
Lost in Space: Shipwrecked (2019)
Havent watched it done yet, but this seems promising this time
For once this broken family, with extras actually seems to geniunly like eachother. THis is the way!!! So.... if that will continue instead of bashing males, wich happend the entire first season, we will get somewhere.
People of Earth (2016)
Also have to say...
Who is he idiot that canceled this show. I mean its a gem of gems out there. I saw all episode in just one day.... I mean its wonderful, and I would love to see the end one day. I hate when they end a show, without really ending it. They did promise us a third season, and suddenly they said no....
Ok, where do I sign a petition to get this show back on the air?
The Big Bang Theory: The Stockholm Syndrome (2019)
A great sendoff of our friends of science
I will Truly miss this show. Yes there were some less good episode this season, but despite many shows of today, they did keep out of the PC politics most of the time, and mostly goofed around about it jokingly.
But it feels like a friend is moving. Last time I felt like this, was when Friends ended. Yes I will give one spoiler... "STILL WHAT IS PENNYS SURNAME" Not even this time we get to know that. lol.
The Big Bang Theory: The Inspiration Deprivation (2019)
Ok, this was really a bad episode (Maybe some spilers)
Sadly I cant give this a go at all. I love the show, and the character but this episode where the men in sense are very emassculated is really bad. Its strange that the strongest male character in this show actually seems to be Leonard. Even if he sometimes is emasculated because Penny sometimes is scary.
The only fun part this episode was when they spoke Swedish. That was fun. But Howard, doesnt he gets to deside anything without Bernadette? I mean I can start to understand why he even wanted to have that scooter. He in sense in jail, no freedom at all. Bernadette has more freedom than he has.
And this darn feminist story that Amy has to win the Nobelprize for all womens sake. God, if I new I won anything because of my all males sake, I would never ever do anything. Who can even get through that pressure. Its a awful way to say, that its in sense different. Just because only 4 women won the prize, so it this prize even more important because she is woman? Common, the people who win this prize has won it because of all humanity, not they own sex. NO, really thumbs down. Dont get this stupid politics in this great show. We dont need it.
Timeless: The Miracle of Christmas Part I/II (2018)
Huge feministic vibe over this show...
Since I started to watch this show I noticed very big things. Their chief is a woman and lesbian I might add, and the leadcharacter is a woman. And she in sense nose it all, and quite often finds the solution. Everything is about Lucy. Its a little like Star Trek Discovery where Michael Burham is the most important person in the show.
The the difference though of these two show is, that I actually think they did it good in this Timeless. Lucy do not always saves the day, Wyatt, Rufus and the rest gets to do it too. YOu get to know the people, not like in STD. Even though I do not like feminist shows and it was at times abnoxious to whats. Many times I could tell who of those people who sould save the day, when you learn how this politics works. I could tell how it should end. But despite this. I did enjoy it. Its not the best show, it should have been much better if they left the feminism out of the mix, or maybe use it less. But it is worth a look. This ending though felt a little rushed, but I liked that they tried at least to end the show with a ending, or did they?
Timeless: Mrs. Sherlock Holmes (2018)
Not the best episode but almost... :-)
Yes, its good that the suffraget manage to get woman to vote, but suffraget was only about getting white womens vote. No one really fought for the avarage man to be able to vote.
The truth is, and its in sense the same all over the world. Somehow all believes that men had the right to vote, when the truth is it took a darn long time to get all men to be able to vote. Just for one example Sweden. Before 1921 the rules was that all could vote, even women. But women wasnt allowed to vote if they were married. Men on the other hand was allowed to vote, if they did the military, wich not all Swedish men got to do. So just one small click had the right to vote, those in sense that had money and power. If you did the military, that opened lots of instances in Sweden. Despite this men in prisons, or mentally disordered men or for that matter men with handicap wasnt allowed to vote. 1921 all this changed. The first time that all women in sweden got to vote. Still not all men got to vote. That law changed first in 1924 when almost all men got to vote. The law that said a swedish man had to do military, was removed. Still men in prison and such wasnt allowed to vote. And to be honest Swedish sitizenen living in other countries wasnt allowed to vote either. If they should, they had to be in sweden. So ok. Not all women could vote maybe. But that change so late as in the 2000- century, when our election accepted voting at embassies and such.
So in sense, the suffragets fought for only white women to vote, not all people. The feminist has said during all years now, that women didnt get to vote, but thats not true. At least not in sweden. Yes women wasnt allowed to vote for parlament before 1921, but in smaller elections they were... but as I said... not all men got to vote then either. But strangly enough, feminist had changed the history to "All men got to vote" when it was just the more priviliege once. If i lived during 1921 I wasnt allowed to vote if I didnt to military.
And one more bad thing about suffraget, and their shaming of young men that didnt fight in the first world war, so that they felt force to enter. So they was not all good. BUt they were important.
Yes the show got it right, when they had No black women into the suffraget ranks. So historical correct, suffraget didnt fight for all women, just the more priviliege ones. BUt depsite this feministic vibe, and all men bad (in this show except for our heroes I guess) and not really that intelligent. I did like it. It was told in a good way. So not bad.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine: He Said, She Said (2019)
I reall really like this show, but I cant like this episode???
I loved the show "My girl" but then the two last seasons got all leftist radical feminist and I hated that show. Sadly this things seems to happen all good shows these days and it seems like Brooklyn 9-9 isnt shielded from it. These last two episodes these feministic vibes are pushed down our throuts more often than before.
I mean how many times hasnt women sexually harrassed the male charachters or treated them badly. And those things are for laughs. No, this was a bad episode.... I really didnt like it. Sure its ok with social commentary, but do not tell what we should think.
Star Wars Rebels: Twin Suns (2017)
Spoiler alert!! The best episode yet in my opinion
I will never give anything a full 10 because that would mean its perfect. To be honest you have to see the movies, and clone wars and rebels to really get where some of the characters is to this date to really understand everything that happens.
The episode starts up with Two Twin Suns, a desert and a tired Maul wandering. He still search for Obi-Wan Kenobi which has drawn him towards Tantooin. He is only living for the possibility to get his revenge. But if you have followed any of the other episodes, you would also have this feeling that I've got. I always got the feeling that he is really tired of everything, and really just wants everything to end.
In the other end, Ezra wakes up, hearing a voice calling. He goes up from bed and follows the voice and found the Jedi Holocron is activated with the warning from Obi-Wan Kenobi to all Jedi-knights after Order 66 was activated. And the Sith Holocron activates as well, so Ezra knows that Kenobi is in danger from Maul.
Ezra want to go search for Kenobi because he thinks he is the one that would end the Sith and the Empire, but Captain Sundulla says no, and tells Ezra that he is needed elsewhere. Ezra pretends to agree with her, but sneaks out himself by stealing a fighter. He doesn't know that Chopper also in secret got onto the fighter.
Many people here have been arguing and asking about how Ezra knew that Tantooin was the place where he could find Kenobi? This people didn't really watch the whole episode in my remark. Because if they did, they would probably put one and one together and make that two, that he was guided by the holocrons. Which is shown closer when he wonders onto the Desertplanet itself. So there is not a real plot-hole here at all.
We all already knows that Kenobi is alive and well, and somehow SOmething happens between Maul and Kenobi. I just think the ending is perfect. Not anti-climactic at all. But Ezra get saved by Kenobi, and get to know that he is in the wrong place and actually is needed somewhere else. And suddenly Ezra understands that he was fooled there by Maul.
So when Maul shows up, you could already tell that Maul isn't going to be the winner this time around. To be honest, as I said in the beginning I never thought the Maul was there to win. I several episode I got the feeling that Mauls intentions is more or less to die. So there for I think this ending is just right.
When Maul gets to know Kenobi is guarding the (new)chosen one, he accepts his death and that he will get his revenge even if he is dead. And Mauls makes an attacked without any heart into it, and gets fatally hurt by Kenobi.
Its not a bad death, it was (as a Klingon from Star Trek would say) a good day to die. Because he knew that he would get his revenge strangely from his foe that suddenly is his closest friend. So wow.... This is really whats Star Wars is all about. I even think I would have been disappointed if this last show-down would be longer than 3 seconds and a Clone Waresque light-swords-fight. That would kinda be out of Mauls character and Kenobis at this that time of this story.
Great Performances: Chess in Concert (2009)
Was really disappointed
Warning, might be a little spoiler in my text.
Well, it was not like the real thing. The first second I head Josh Groban sings his part, the whole musical went down for me. Sorry everyone, but no one really makes that part better then the Swedish original singer Tommy Körberg. Sorry, to all the rest of the crew is great, but Josh doesn't have the power to do this part. He really did destroy "Anthem" for me. The only one I heard sing that song in class of Mr Körberg is actually another Swedish Musical singer Peter Jöback. Sorry, the music is still great, and many of the others makes a real good day of work. But Josh destroy that part so real bad.
