This was a really good movie. I don't understand what is wrong with people.... Is a kidnapping unique? Was Lindbergh's daughter the only kidnapped person ever? So, what do they mean it's been done before (and better!) with Kurt Russell? What a stupid comparison. Butler gave a excellent performance and took over the whole movie. He always has great screen presence. The plot was good and it keeps you aware and waiting for the next turn. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Never a boring minute!!!

Even though a bit slow at times, it keeps the pace with the story behind it. Excellent performances by Gerard Butler and Peter Mullen.

Long winded and boring! I really can't see this high rating of the critics of 84/100! Where do they get it? The movie lost me within the first 45 minutes. At least I tried!!! ...

A perfect sequel to Olympus Has Fallen. Full of action with the adrenaline rising every minute. Even though we know the characters, the plot is different and very interesting and up to the times. After all this is the era of terrorism unfortunately (let's not forget it) and for those of us who are against all forms of terrorism this is the perfect movie. Very enjoyable and well played by all actors. I do not categorize this movie in the intellectual category however. It is what it is and perfect as such. As for those people who trash it, why do they go see such movies if they don't like them??? I wonder. I enjoyed this movie and this does not make me stupid; I also liked Trumbo and gave it a 10 because I found what I was looking for in it. I enjoy animated movies as well as comedies and drama. So, don't be so melodramatic and trash this movie. Just keep away from it and let those of us who enjoy a variety enjoy London Has Fallen.

A very poor imitation of Olympus Has Fallen despite the high budget and very silly on top. I mean, kicking a dead guy because his phone broke?? what a joke! The terrorists looked positively stupid and even the gunshots sounded fake. This is not an action movie but a big bad joke.

An absolute waste of time. Brainless BS. A waste of a good actor (James Woods). The story is pathetic and or I should say non existent as there are many different stories; take your pick.

Don't waste your time with this, not worth your money either.

Channing Tatum is not much of an actor either, he rather looks like a chunk of beef, I am sorry to say.

I must say I have been privileged to watch (partly) one of the worst movies ever. Unbelievable!! I simply walked out after about half an hour. This was utterly boring and stupid. I do not like post apocalyptic movies in general. However, I thought ... Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman ( I never saw him)... This must be good. Was I wrong!!! I would never recommend this to anyone unless they are big fans of senseless crap. Very disappointing. Tom Cruise is a great actor and I do expect a lot more that this. I must say he has his moments. He has done many good movies as well as bad. This is one of them.

Great entertainment!!

A very enjoyable 2 hours spent. Great performances, edge of your seat suspense. It takes hold of you from minute one to the end. Gerard Butler at his best, Morgan Freeman always great and so were the rest of the cast. What I would like to point out though is: how believable can this be?? So many people found it such a terrible movie, because... how can this possibly happen to us in the USA?? Come on people, the worst ever acts of terror have happened in the US of A!! I am not saying that the exact replication of this scenario can happen but.. so much else HAS happened, Why do you act so surprised and offended? It can happen is the US or anywhere else in the world as long as there terrorists around no matter where they come from. As far as the movie is concerned, it is a good story well brought to the screen by Antoine Fuqua and of course it's main star Gerard Butler.

I am sick and tired of reading about "anhother Die Hard" movie. From critics to audiences,if one will say it, then everybody else repeats the same theme. Come on people, find something more original to say otherwise, don't say anything, be creative instead of boring.

The movie was anything but boring. And after all, THIS IS A MOVIE. Go see it and enjoy it. It is the best action movie I have seen in a long time. I highly recommend it.

An amazing story.. An amazing movie!!!

I saw this movie and was simply left speechless. It was amazing!! The story of Sam Childers is amazing. It really makes you think and wonder how can one person have so much willpower and stamina to keep doing what he has been doing all these years for these children. I was shocked by what the LRA has been doing to these children but unfortunately this is the truth and history keeps repeating itself especially in African countries. I have lived in Africa for many years and seeing somebody doing something about these atrocities does mean a lot (even though he is a "white savior"). If this is what it takes, so be it. Let's not denigrate it as I have seen so many do in their reviews. It is a very moving story and although it is extremely violent at times (let us not forget this is a true story and these things happened), it can be very touching and emotional. Gerard Butler's performance is Oscar worthy and Michelle Monaghan and Michael Shannon were also great even though their roles were short but then again the story is about Sam Childers. However, what I would really like to know is why some of the critics trashed this movie?? !! Most of the people who saw it found it excellent as I did. And why was it not widely distributed??? I think people should see this movie and be more awake and aware!! Was it too controversial for some?? It leaves me wondering !!!

Tried to figure out what this was all about throughout the movie (at least when I was awake. Was this a mobster sob story?? trying an artistic edge to it!! Very bad. What a waste of time (at least not money as this was a download.) I considered Gosling a good actor but I guess I have changed my mind. What an expressionless character throughout the ... plot?? if you can call it that (I have my doubts). As for the length of the movie, I assume they did not have any more crap to write into it so they drew it out as much as they could. I think they could have conveyed the same s**t in about half an hour. Shameless!! Will they push for an Oscar nomination for this abomination?? I wonder! That would be really something. Was there a deeper meaning to all this? I am stunned! I love cinema and always appreciate good movies. So, please, no more of this. Senseless killing, a story that leads to nothing, no beginning or end to it. However, I did watch the whole thing thinking that maybe I could make head or tails of it but to no avail. People should be warned about this before they decide to go see it and waste their own time and probably money. I do not usually criticize movies as a lot of effort is put into making them but this was a blotched job. This review is probably too harsh but so was this movie.
