Ghost Recon: Alpha (2012)

Can't say I didn't like it...which is good

For the few scenes it gave us, well directed. I quite liked it! Not so much suspense as to what was coming next. Good action scenes. I loved the cloak and the weapons used gave it that futuristic feel. I especially loved the robotic machine did not look fake at all.

One scene I thought was not thought of well was when the head of the team jumped into the tank and pushed the robotic machine over the edge, this looked really fake. What would of worked is the robot creeping closer and closer to the edge to fire it's weapon not being able to fire because of the angle falling off itself or even a futuristic weapon to be used on it like a rocket launcher but more futuristic like looks and firing ability.

The concept is great and should be very appealing to all video and arcade game buffs. With careful directing and less fake scenes this should be very watchable.

The Intouchables (2011)

Truly delightful

Once again out of the darkness comes another touching piece of something special.

Such reality and great character work, especially from Omar Sy. It never once veered from the storyline. Everything flowed well from start to finish.

Throughout this movie you will laugh, expect true laughter. The music was wonderfully matched and was not overpowering.

Usually one shy's away from predictability as we yearn for a mental challenges, especially through movies, truly this was not the case as you would not expect such touching representation.

Congratulations to all involved!

Coriolanus (2011)

NOT AN ACTION MOVIE, SO DON'T EXPECT IT!

Once again I had no idea of what to expect of this movie. Instantly I found myself waiting for a captivating action movie, but was extremely disappointed.

To say it was a modern day Shakespeare would be extremely unjust and wrong to the great Shakespeare.

After watching this movie I replayed it with NO AUDIO and found it was much more entertaining.

I know I seem harsh but this movie was just plain WRONG. I still voted as it had to be done.

Prince of Broadway (2008)

Talk about raising the bar...Bows down to Sean Baker and his crew.

This is not a movie, it is a masterpiece!

The sense of realism was captured beautifully throughout. The characters and the story most people can relate to in real life, but, to capture it as well as it was, well it deserves full credit. The timing of the camera work was superb.

I refuse to call this a movie, more like a captured moment in someones life. Even the way it ended left you thinking.

As always I try not to read reviews or watch trailers about the movie or it's characters so to me this was quite a surprise to watch something so unique.
