Teen Wolf (2011)
8/10. My favorite show right now!
SO far, I have watched all of season one, two and up to episode six of season three. Season one, I felt, was a really good and solid series. I remember scrolling down a website and seeing the words "Teen Wolf". So naturally, as a supernatural fan, I thought I would download it and check it out. I got the first two episodes and loved it! I thought the first episode was really creative and a bit creepy when he was bitten in the woods. Although some bits do look a bit fake... For MTV, i think they did the series justice. Season two was a massive improvement in quality for the show and the stand out characters would have to be Lydia, Jackson (Colton Haynes) and Isaac ((Daniel Sharman). I really enjoy all the characters and that they have interesting back stories other than Lydia (Holland Roden) really, although she is a lot more involved in season three. The acting is good, not great, but good. The story lines for each season are interesting but I personally enjoy the series more when the cast are at school or in a natural setting rather than being shot at by hunters. I loved all of the music in the first series and i was a lot more obsessed with that then I am now with the series even though it's still really good! Some things and issues happening are feeling a little bit repetitive though. My favorite scene though, would have to be when in season one when Allison (Crystal Reed) and Scott (Tyler Posey) break up and she's asleep dreaming about him. It's almost like an inspired Peter Pan scene and it's done is well!
Season one was really well presented, season two was a lot more darker and improved in every aspect and season three feels like it's building up to something big! but again, improved. This show seriously has so much potential to grow, expand and improve even more! Well done to the cast and crew for creating what is my favorite show for the past 3 years!
Kris (2013)
5½/10. Good start to the season! needs fixing though...
I think the talk show is good and entertaining, but lacks information about stuff other then the Kardashian family. She asks such generic questions to her guests like "who's your celebrity crush" and it's a little bit annoying. I feel that the flirting is way too over the top and I think she needs to take a lesson from someone like Ellen on things to say/do and things not to say/do. This is a talk show, not a lesson on how to get your "sexy on". Aside from the negatives, Kris did show cooking, fashion and music which i think was something interesting to do. Maybe like a "latest trends", "Music Time" or "cooking with Kris" would be a good idea to add to the show. That's something that not a lot of talk shows have so i think that might set her apart. She just needs some big named guessed I think to get people watching. So for a first episode, I think she did pretty well with what she had. Also, just quickly, her stage is way too big and so overpowering! Something of the same design, but a bit smaller would be really nice. From everything displayed on the first episode, I think the show seriously has so much potential!
Overall, I give Kris a 5½/10. She needs to work on a few things but overall was okay. Good job Kris!
