George & Tammy (2022)
Interesting and Keeps your Attention
It seems to be a trend right now to have shows about true life stories or loosely based stories. From start to finish it really kept my attention their love and struggles while hearing music I enjoy. I see people posting the singing was terrible, but I do not think so. Shannon especially sounded good. I think people get in their head the real singers and will not have it in their heads someone else singing some of the songs. Sometimes we do not see past the true performances on stage and tv. The characters we derive in our heads may be completely different than their true personalities so you got to go into it open minded. Unlike some of the other stories I have watched recently that the captivating parts were in the first 2-3 episodes this was different it kept my attention start to finish. I am sure that everything is not completely accurate, but I found it well put together and interesting.
FBoy Island: The Men Have No Idea (2022)
F No
This finale ruined it for me. The girl should have to donate the money as well if the guy did. The 2nd season was already lacking that luster compared to the 1st with the exception of the returning season 1 cast. If you wanted a twist why not the guys split the money or choose a charity. I do not feel the chemistry was believable with Tamaris for a relationship or F in reality. These shows are funny to watch but this season what the F.
The Batman (2022)
Monotone
This was so drab, drawn out, and lacking. The bat mobile was neat and the soundtrack was good. There were a few interesting twists, but that is just it they were blandly thrown out there.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
Left me Feeling Nostalgic
I am not the biggest fan of the multiverse, but this left me feeling nostalgic. Spiderman is always fun to watch. I have loved each and every Spiderman. My oldest son to my youngest so have been Spiderman fans and this brought memories of each movie that I watched with them. I was not as crazy about this Lizard. It did not fit as well. I like how they tied everything together and the aspect of seeing what changed in the bad guys in time. I like the teamwork aspect as well. If you love Spiderman and have enjoyed all of them you will likely appreciate all of them being tied together.
Dexter: New Blood: Sins of the Father (2022)
ANYTHING but THIS
This laid a decent story until the end. Of course there was unbelievable events and etc like most stories, but this ending sucked. Killing the coach was unnecessary. It should have maybe dug a little deeper his girlfriend unveiling his history and possibly helping him escape or cover up. Someone else anyone else could have killed Dexter (even the dead clown) besides Harrison. Then Harrison could possibly live in the area and live by the code or somewhat happily ever after. He could have let Dexter escape and lived in Iron Lake where he was feeling like he was making a home. Dexter could have killed himself. Really anything would have been better than the last half of the episode.
Antebellum (2020)
Lacking
The story had potential, but it missed the mark. It was not good.
The View (1997)
This should be called "Joy's View"
This show is more like a cult ran by Joy Behar. She cannot even stop to halfway listen to anyone else's opinion. It is very one sided. The only topic they seem to have is Trump. If they happen to mix it up Joy cannot contain herself enough to not mention Trump. She is like a doll that you pull the string on the back and it only has a few phrases to say without the capability to listen to anyone.
