The Old Man: VII (2022)
Oh it ended?
I enjoyed the show and was looking forward to episode 8 not having a clue that VII was actually the season finale.
I guess not noticing a finale is a finale says everything about it, oh well I'll wait until next series to continue watching....
Lost in Space (2018)
1st season interesting, 2nd slow, 3rd great!
I think when it got the 2nd season they didn't know how long to drag out the storyline for, making it a little dull.
Knowing the 3rd season was to be the last they fit in more action and drama than the first 2 seasons combined making it a very enjoyable watch!
The Many Saints of Newark (2021)
Interesting but doesn't cover enough
It's billed as the making of Tony Soprano, but he was just a minor character in the background.
It's 2h long but not much seems to happen, if this was the first 2 episodes of an 8 part mini series I'd say it's a great start, but instead it's over and has hardly begun!
On the positive side I found it interesting and I thought the characters of Janice and Livia were spot on.
Project Blue Book (2019)
It's a bit of a nothing show
I watched this as I've liked most of the cast in other shows before.
I found it interesting at first, but have given up after 4 episodes, each episode seemed to be left unanswered, with hints of government coverups.
I always found the government conspiracy episodes of X-Files the worst ones, perhaps if they were your favourites you'll enjoy this.
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
2h20 mildly interesting then what an ending!!!
The most part of this film I'd describe as mildly interesting, nothing much happens you just get to know the characters. However the last 20 minutes is completely bonkers in a way only Tarantino can do - I loved it!!
Doctor Who: Rosa (2018)
Educational not scary!
Doctor Who is meant to be scary, it's meant to have you on the edge of your seat hiding behind a cushion, it's meant to have alien monsters trying to kill people. This episode had none of that and while I can applaud the sentiment behind this episode the writers need to remember what sort of show they are writing otherwise they could lose a large part of their audience.....
Doctor Who: Sleep No More (2015)
Worst Episode Ever!
I'm a big fan of Doctor Who, and although some episodes haven't been great I never thought they were terrible - until this one!!
It's done in a "found footage" style, now I know some people don't like this genre but I have no problem with it when it's done well, this wasn't.
The villain in this is meant to be the sleep in the corner of your eye - which is completely ridiculous, it's like this episode was written exclusively for young children.
Honestly if you like Doctor Who, don't watch this episode - if you do, you'll regret it and like Doctor Who slightly less afterwards...
