The NBA on TNT: NBA Playoffs R1G5 - Clippers vs Nuggets (2025)
R1G5 - Clippers @ Nuggets.
The series tied at 2-2. Kawhi the early flush, but it's Denver out to a quick double-digit lead and lead by 12 at the break. Westbrook providing a lot of scoring off the bench. Batum blocks a Jokic push shot, Dunn 3 of 4 from deep. The Nuggets up 8 at the half, with Murray doing the bulk of the scoring. Plenty of steals and easy buckets both ways, Batum blocks Jokic again. Braun hits the 3 to end the 3rd, to give Denver a sizeable 16-point lead. Murray continues to knock them down, the Nuggets get a little sloppy though, creating a window of opportunity for the Clippers. Denver pulls back away though late, to take 3-2 series lead. Both teams shot well, the Nuggets lights out though, 51% from 3. Both teams equally took care of the ball and were even on the boards. Murray with a super-efficient 43 points, 7 assists, 5 boards and 3 steals, just 1 turnover. Gordon an efficient 23 points and 4 boards. Jokic an inefficient 13-point triple-double, 12 assists, 10 boards and 2 blocks. For the Clippers, Leonard 20 points, 11 assists, 9 boards and 2 blocks, with just 1 turnover. Dunn an efficient 15 points, 6 of 7 from the field and 2 steals, no turnovers.

NBA on ESPN: 2025 NBA Playoffs R1G4 - Lakers vs Timberwolves (2025)
R1G4 - Lakers @ Timberwolves.
Minnesota up 2-1, will the refs control the game like game 2, to keep the money rolling. First play Reaves rakes Gobert at the basket no whistle, heh. LeBron a good turnaround 3, the Lakers up 5 at the quarter break. A crazy good intercept and save by DiVincenzo and Alexander-Walker hits the transition 3. When looking at a challenge, surely the refs see flopping... Gobert's moving on the screen, but the contact's called because Reaves flops, so it should be on Reaves. They correctly give Reaves the foul because he flopped to cause the whistle to be blown, but they made up some other reason instead of saying he flopped, heh. Minnesota a super tall lineup of Gobert, Reid, Randle and McDaniels on the floor, then bring on Edwards for Conley. Doncic lighting it up, LeBron living at the free-throw line. Edwards takes over though, with the contested 3 and follow up bucket. He gets the steal and LeBron takes out his legs. The Wolves on a 9-0 run, they lead by 3 at the half. The Lakers start the 3rd on a 14-0 run, despite Conley blocking LeBron. The Wolves pick up the defense, but the Lakers lead by 10 going into the last. Reid multiple 3's and Minnesota hits the lead. Finney-Smith hits the 3 to put the Lakers back ahead late, Edwards fouled and hits clutch free-throws to win it. The Timberwolves up 3-1 in the series, the refs decent here, even though there were plenty of free-throws. Credit to LeBron playing 46 minutes however. The Lakers shot better from the field and 3. Both teams took good care the ball, Minnesota just 9 turnovers and +8 on the boards. Edwards with a dominant efficient 43 points, 6 assists, 9 boards, 4 offensive, including excellent defense, with just the 1 turnover. McDaniels 16 points and 11 boards. DiVincenzo 5 steals off the bench. For the Lakers, LeBron an efficient 27 points, 8 assists, 12 boards, 3 steals and 3 blocks. Doncic an efficient 31 points. Hachimura an efficient 23 points and 5 boards.
3. (Min) A. Edwards, 2. (Lal) L. James, 1. (Min) J. McDaniels.
Survivre (2024)
You can do worse.
So I watched Survive aware of its poor rating without super high expectations, because it looked interesting enough I guess.
The premise and the family dynamic were solid, though it started to take a decline once the random wandering killer comes along, removing a significant and fundamental character from the film. Whereby the family now walk and walk to escape him. Then the film takes a real serious dive when the silly CGI crabs show up in insurmountable numbers, warranting the rating it receives. Some poor and other choices are also made in the film, but still you can surely do worse than this.
Havoc (2025)
Action-packed and engrossing, with flaws.
In Havoc, the story is set after a drug deal gone wrong, when a bruised detective must fight his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician's estranged son, while unraveling a deep web of corruption.
An action-packed and engrossing film, but at the same time it lacks solid foundation, brushed over and never quite logically comes together in the end or resonates.
It also contains a fair amount of cgi and characters that hold little weight. The nonstop bullets flying everywhere gets tired at a point too, but Tom Hardy's a strong lead and has a decent supporting cast. It's decent.
AFL Sunday: Round 7 - Carlton vs Geelong (2025)
Carl vs Geel, at the MCG.
Dempsey a good mark and kicks the opener on the angle. Curnow with plenty of time puts it to McKay's feet for a turnover, the Blues reply though. Carlton's connection early slow and poor. Geelong's kids standing tall in defense. The Blues winning it at clearance though with more of the footy. Curnow blunders a certain goal. Dangerfield awarded a free on the siren right in front, Carlton lead by 1 point at quarter-time. The Blues get separation in the 2nd, Curnow another on the angle. A costly turnover by De Koning of the Blues, going back over his head, but soon goals himself. Cameron snaps through the set-shot, Carlton up 19 at the half. Dempsey another opportunistic goal and two quick ones to start the 3rd for Geelong. Curnow responds with another mark and goal, then Durdin the aerial grab over De Koning and goal, the margin back out again. The Blues lead by 28 going into 3-quarter time. Cameron goals instantly to start the 4th, Carlton continues to intercept well and Weitering beats Dangerfield in the 1on1. Dangerfield bursts through everyone and passes to Smith for the goal from distance, the Cats with 3 in a row. McKay marks and kicks his third to settle. Cameron a good mark and Close the goal. Hewett goals late from 50 and Carlton gets it done, home by 18 points. The Blues won the hit-outs, were +6 in the clearances, had much more of the footy and applied 3 more tackles. NBA on ESPN: NBA Playoffs R1G3 - Pacers vs Bucks (2025)
R1G3 - Pacers @ Bucks.
The Pacers up 2-0. A track meet, not ideal against Giannis. A lot of missing going on, it's all square at the quarter break. The poor shooting continues in the 2nd, Giannis consecutive turnovers, almost three and Indiana on a 10-0 run, up 10 at the half. Kuzma denied going to the rim back to back, Trent's 3's keeping Milwaukee in it. The Bucks pull away though to take an 11-point lead going into the last. Green back to back 3's and Trent continues to knock em down. Milwaukee home comfortably, to get on the board in the series. Stringer still struggling to convert, the Giants lead by 6 at quarter-time. The Dogs too good, kick ahead. Hogan a much needed goal for the Giants and then Bedford from outside 50. Greene misses an easy run-in goal, not for the first time this season. A ruck free-kick on the halftime siren gifts the Dogs a goal to put them back ahead, that no one has any idea what it was for, up 5. Bontempelli killing them with every involvement, Harmes slots his fourth on the angle. The Giants getting ripped to shreds in the 3rd, another perfect passage of play and conversion, the margin 37 at 3-quarter time, the Giants goalless for the term. A flogging, the Giants with so much of the footy for nothing, the final margin 32 points. Membrey the next from a shocking Shiel kick going forward. Wright with a good contested mark in the wet, gets Essendon on the board after kicking 6 last week. It's all the Pies in the 1st-term dominating field position, up 15. Collingwood playing the conditions better and continue on, Membrey adds another. Durham back to back goals, Merrett taking down Daicos. The Bombers bring it back, but the Pies up 8 at the half. Caddy a good mark and converts early in the 3rd. Hill slots it from the boundary, a classy kick. Daicos seeking out Shiel, so he can run off him, as Shiel's lazy as hell. Essendon turning it over, Elliott goals and Collingwood kicks away. Shiel constantly telling others to go cover someone so he doesn't have to run and can stand the mark, creating loose players for the opposition as teammates have to get back to position and so forth, while he walks through the midfield, it's ridiculous. The Pies up 24 at 3-quarter time. Wright applies the tackle and converts to start the 4th, but that's about it. Elliott kicks his fifth, Collingwood home comfortably, by 41 points. The Bombers won the hit-outs, the Pies dominating the clearances +14, with more of the footy and 13 more tackles applies. Melbourne taking their chances, Chandler snapping a goal. Lalor gets the Tigers on the board from a late free in the 1st-term and another free given on the siren and Taranto converts, the Dees lead by 5. Lynch poor on goal, Green goals on the angle. Richmond another free goal, tackled running into goal... I don't get it, why's it a free-kick. Vlastuin turns it over from the kick-out, straight back over his head, the Demons lead by 4 at the half. Pickett marks uncontested and converts right away to start the 3rd. Petracca shirking contact, for who is known as a bull. Umpires making up calls for any contact, Petracca goals, generated by a Chandler smother. Fritsch snaps another and Melbourne kick on, with Petracca converting from 50. The margin 35 going into 3-quarter time. Viney a shocking kick, needs to take whatever option is available. The Dees home comfortably though, by 20 points. What Still Remains (2018)
All in the attitude.
What Still Remains starts poorly with a brother left for dead because he rolled his ankle? A dying mother and a girl alone because of leaving said brother for dead. Upon meeting a stranger named Peter, she sets out to join his community. The story's thin, the community takes a prisoner and then instead of killing or letting him loose, goes to meet the enemy out in the open, leaving the community unguarded and losing everyone and everything.
In reality, the protagonist objects to the community because she didn't agree to be betrothed to Peter and that she can't just leave, but she did make the choice to go with him. So it's all in her attitude really, it could've just as easily went smoothly. The film's alright though.
The NBA on TNT: NBA Playoffs - R1G2 - Grizzlies vs Thunder (2025)
R1G2 - Grizzlies @ Thunder.
Oklahoma up 1-0. Edey in rebounding position and has his hands on it, but repeatedly fumbles and gets knocked off it, not forcing contact or finishing the play. The Thunder with a 9-0 run to start the game, with Memphis missing their first 10 shots. The Grizzlies look defeated, this could be a quick series. Memphis scoring just 17 at the quarter break, down 15. Williams picks Bane for the transition hoop, turnovers piling up. Morant consecutive baskets, but Gilgeous-Alexander multiple 3-pointers in response. Not sure about some of these rotation choices of Bagley and Konchar, where's GG Jackson, Oklahoma up 18 going into halftime. Memphis consecutive defensive plays in transition starting the 3rd. Jackson aggressive and the Grizzlies cut into the deficit. Aldama gives clear pathway to the basket on consecutive plays, lazily going for steals from behind. Jackson doing his best, but the Thunder still lead by 11 going into the last. Oklahoma with a 9-0 run to start the 4th, quickly put the lead back out to 20. They win comfortably, taking a 2-0 series lead. The shooting even between the teams, the Thunder taking much better care of the ball though, with just 7 turnovers and +13 on the boards. Jalen Williams with 24 points, 5 assists and 6 boards, just 1 turnover. Holgren 20 points, 11 boards and 5 blocks. Caruso 13 points, 4 boards and 3 steals off the bench. For Memphis, Jackson 26 points and 6 boards.
3. (Okc) J. Williams, 2. (Mem) J. Jackson, 1. (Okc) C. Holmgren.
The NBA on TNT: NBA Playoffs - R1G2 - Pistons vs Knicks (2025)
R1G2 - Pistons @ Knicks.
New York up 1-0. A big stuff and block by Duren early. Towns finishes these plays against good defense and you gotta respect that, but whinges after every miss or make, like any contact is a foul and acts like a child which diminishes him as a player. The Knicks with just 18 1st-quarter points, down 7. Cade taking the onus upon himself and picking apart the Knicks defense. Brunson foul-baiting and New York cuts the deficit to 6 going into halftime. Brunson flopping into Thompson all game trying to get him off the floor, Detroit getting further separation, but the refs fall for it. McBride hits the desperation heave off the backboard for 3, the Knicks cut it to 8 going into the last. The Knicks keep running into people and falling down and the refs blowing the whistle every time. Thompson fouled out, barely playing, refs should be ashamed. New York goes on an 8-0 run, a ridiculous call for Brunson foul-baiting late... what can ya do, the Knicks even it up. The Pistons win it though from a Schroder 3, evening up the series. Detroit shot better from the field, the Knicks from 3, with neither team good from there, the Pistons more productions at the line. New York took better care of the ball, Detroit with just 11 assists for the game, something to think about, the Pistons +14 on the boards though. Cade 33 points, 12 boards and 2 steals, but 5 turnovers. Duren 12 points, 13 boards, 4 offensive and 3 blocks. Schroder an efficient 20 points, off the bench. For the Knicks, Brunson 37 points, 7 assists and 2 assist, but 6 turnovers.

Chol applies the tackle and snaps it through from the boundary, the Cats up just 6 at 3-quarter time. Dangerfield snaps through a settler, but Hawthorn respond and even it up. A close game down to the wire, Sicily having a shocker. Geelong get over the line, by 7 points. Dangerfield best afield again playing forward, with 15 disposals and 3 straight goals. Mannagh 17 disposals, 7 tackles and 3 goals. Atkins 24 disposals, 16 contested, 7 clearances and 9 tackles. For the Hawks, Worpel 22 disposals, 6 clearances and 13 tackles. The NBA on TNT: NBA Playoffs - R1G1 - Warriors vs Rockets (2025)
R1G1 - Warriors @ Rockets.
Looks like an even matchup for a 2-7 matchup, the 7 in Golden State probably even favorite. Sengun a big slam on Green early, the Rockets getting into the paint with athleticism, lead by 3 at the quarter break. Butler bridging the gap and continues his high level of play, Sengun still having his way. Curry throws it out of bounds in transition and gets a phantom call cos he falls down... and then knocks down the 3, ouch, what can ya do. The Warriors on a 10-0 run to end the half, up 13. Golden State ask for a foul anytime and they get it, Butler the contested 3 to go up 20. Curry a ridiculous contested contested drifting turnaround 3. Sengun the step-back 3, crazy block by Eason. Houston cuts the deficit to 9, ending the 3rd on 17-3 run. The Rockets bring it back, but Butler and the Warriors close it out, winning on the road. Golden State shot much better from the field and 3. The Warriors took better care of the ball, Houston +16 on the boards. Butler 25 points, 6 assists, 7 boards and 5 steals, with just 1 turnover. Curry an efficient 30 points and 6 boards. For the Rockets, Sengun 26 points, 9 boards and 3 steals, but 5 turnovers.
3. (Gsw) J. Butler, 2. (Gsw) S. Curry, 1. (Hou) A. Sengun.
AFL Sunday: Round 6 - Sydney vs Port Adelaide (2025)
Syd vs Port, at the SCG.
Neither team traveling as good as they normally would. Port kick the opener, Heeney bounces a reply through from the boundary. Georgiades marks and bananas it through from the boundary likewise, the Power with a handy 18-point quarter-time lead. Cochrane adds another on the tight angle, Sydney kicking poorly, Rioli adds another. Hayward a big grab and converts a much needed goal for the Swans. Horne-Francis misses an easy set-shot from a free, Blakey keeps missing running inside 50, the margin increased to 27 at the half. Port goals instantly to start the 3rd, Rowbottom the reply and then Hayward snaps another. Sydney make no inroad though, down 28 going into 3-quarter time. The Power again goal instantly to start the 4th and win it comfortably, on a poor playing surface. Port won the hit-outs, the Swans +13 in the clearances, with much more of the footy via handball. Sydney with 8 more inside 50's, for 8 more scoring shots, the conversion the difference with the Power superb. Butters best afield, with 27 disposals, 23 effective, 17 contested, 2 contested marks, 7 clearances, 5 inside 50's, 8 tackles and 8 intercepts. Georgiades 2 contested marks, an assist and 3 straight goals. Rozee 27 disposals, 6 inside 50's, 7 intercepts, 825 metres gained and a goal. 3. (Por) Z. Butters, 2. (Por) M. Georgiades, 1. (Por) C. Rozee.
NBA on ESPN: NBA Playoffs - R1G1 - Pistons vs Knicks (2025)
R1G1 - Pistons @ Knicks.
A nice spin move by Thompson, defensively matched up on Brunson. He gets two quick fouls against foul-baiter Brunson and has to sit early. Beasley a good contested 3, the Pistons making shots, but fouling left and right and are behind. It's all square at the quarter break though, Anunoby doing the bulk of the scoring for the Knicks. I wouldn't be able to put up with Towns whinging every play, they really should be ejecting him in a regular season game to change his behavior. Beasley 4 of 5 from deep, has Detroit ahead. Commentators literally criticize a defender for Brunson flopping into them than criticize Brunson. Cade a nice mid-range, New York up 2 at the half. Thompson another nice spin and finish. Schroder with the block and steal and Beasley back to back transition hoops. The Pistons on a run go into the last up 8. Towns hitting a diet of difficult 2's, Brunson an and1, Payne a few 3's and the Knicks pull ahead, going on a 21-0 run, with Detroit crumbling. New York holding home court in game 1. The Knicks shot better from the field, Detroit from 3. New York took much better care of the ball, the Pistons +1 on the boards. Towns with efficient 23 points, 5 assists, 11 boards, 4 steals, 2 blocks and no turnovers. Anunoby 23 points, 7 boards, 5 steals and 2 blocks. Payne an efficient 14 points off the bench, 3 of 5 from deep. For Detroit, Beasley 20 points, 4 boards and 2 steals, off the bench. Harris an efficient 25 points and 6 boards.
3. (Nyk) K. Towns, 2. (Det) M. Beasley, 1. (Nyk) O. Anunoby.
Saturday Afternoon AFL: Round 6 - Adelaide vs GWS (2025)
Adel vs Gws, at Adelaide Oval.
Hogan out for the Giants, perhaps equally Peatling for the Crows, who'd been one of their best early in the season. Keays snaps through the opener fro Adelaide right away and Thilthorpe the next from distance after some time. Stringer misses the easy set-shot, all the Crows, the Giants defense can only hold on for so long. GWS goalless at quarter-time, Adelaide leads by 17. A mauling at the clearance, hardly any scoring in the 2nd, the margin just 13 at the half despite the Crows dominance, the Giants with only 1 goal on the board. Michalanney goals right away in the 3rd, Thilthorpe misses an easy set-shot from a free and Greene misses running into open goal, what's going on. Jones a good goal on the angle set up by Stringer. Sick of umpires not paying 15, but then paying it less distance because someone's about to be tackled and they can't give them a warning... The umpires are panzy as hell, minimizing all contact, it's a contact sport. It starts to rain, Adelaide gets caught like 4 times in one passage of play and the umpires let them all go, resulting in a goal. The umpiring continues to go the Crows way, with Walker converting from a ruck free which he initiated, Adelaide leads by 23 at 3-quarter time. The Giants make no inroad, in an ugly game of footy. The Crows dominated the hit-outs and that's primarily where the game was won, +13 in the clearances, the Giants with more of the footy and 8 more tackles applied. Adelaide with 13 more inside 50's, for 5 more scoring shots, neither side with decent conversion. O'Brien best afield in a sloppy game, with 17 disposals, 34 hit-outs and 7 intercepts. Walker 17 disposals, 2 contested marks, 5 hit-outs and 2 goals. Keays 18 disposals, 5 inside 50's, 7 tackles, a goal and an assist. For the Giants, Idun 26 disposals, 25 effective, 13 intercepts and an assist.
3. (Adel) R. O'Brien, 2. (Gws) C. Idun, 1. (Adel) T. Walker.

PDC World Darts Championship: 2025 Darts Premier League - Week 11 Semifinal - Luke Littler vs Stephen Bunting (2025)
2025 Premier League - W11 SF - Littler vs Bunting.
Bunting misses an early break opportunity and it's Littler who breaks. Bunting breaks back and on song, combo finishes to break again and take a 4-2 lead. Littler turns it up with a 12-darter once on the back foot. He then has 7 perfect darts against throw for another 12-dart break. Littler takes it to a deciding leg after being down 2-5. Littler wires the 138 checkout and Bunting remaining composed takes out the combo finish to win it, 6-5. Bunting with a superb 106 average and a strong 50% on the doubles, Littler averaging 101 and 42% on the doubles. Littler with five 180's to Bunting's two, Bunting twenty-eight 100+ throws to Littler's twenty-four.
