The Flash: Rogues of War (2023)
I have to agree with everyone that is saying this is the worst episode
This episode was just hard to watch. The flash manages to convince other metas to join him on his crazy mission with very little dialogue. It was like the writers were too lazy to even try to develop a story. It is also super convenient how there are 3 components to a meta dampener and they have the exact 3 people to counteract it. I never write reviews and this episode was just so bad I had to write something. I am happy this is the last season if this is how they're going to continue to tell stories. Don't waste my time. Also, the big reveal at the end...really? You not only change the Red Death but you tell the actors they have to pretend to be afraid of the LEAST terrifying person in the entire episode?!
Resident Evil (2022)
How did this get made?
I couldn't even make it past episode 2.
They wrote the characters really stupid which makes A SHOW ABOUT ZOMBIES even less believable. If you survived the zombie apocalypse then you would make significantly better decisions than some of these characters. This review probably sucks just as much as the show because I'm so annoyed that I can't think straight. A perfectly good concept ruined by Netflix yet again.
Black Summer (2019)
Still waiting for it to get good
Season 1 had promise but season 2 was just bland and boring. None of the characters are likable and the show never really makes you feel invested in them. They start to kill of the main people but you never cared about them in the first place so it doesn't really have that much of an impact outside of having to establish new people to follow. Since you aren't invested in the characters you don't really feel any suspense when the zombies show up.
The writing is bad, the scenarios are often unrealistic, and people never seem to grasp the concept that you need to shoot them in the head.
