Sin City (2005)
My...god...
If you are offended by ANYTHING, then don't watch this. Truly disturbing stuff.
Otherwise, for the love of god see this movie! I can't really say anything else without spoiling the whole experience. Makes Kill Bill look like Mr. Rogers. I really do not want to spoil anything so I won't go into details, but this has to be the most graphic movie I've ever seen. Reminds me a whole lot of Max Payne, that whole style. 10/10, definitely. Great great movie. I just got back from seeing it, and I'm still is awe of it. Sweet Jesus wow!
See this movie!
Operation Delta Force 5: Random Fire (2000)
What the...
Are they serious?! This has to be the most mindless, generic "action" film I've ever seen! The action scenes are filmed in slow motion for some reason, the dialogue is corny and laughable, and many parts of the story are completely unbelievable.
0 stars out of 5. Ugh!
From the Earth to the Moon (1998)
Oh my God.
I was blown away by this. Tom Hanks did a really good job on this one. I had never heard about it before I rented it. I wish I had. It's amazing. Great acting, script, storyline, everything. You HAVE to buy this! You won't be disappointed!
The Straight Story (1999)
One of the Greatest Movies Ever
SPOILERS!
When I saw this movie, I was blown away. The script and acting are both excellent. It is filled with emotion. This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. Richard Farnsworth and Sissy Spacek give breathtaking performances. One notable scene is where Alvin Learns that Lyle is very sick. He simply says "I gotta go see Lyle". So simple and determined, great line. At the end, when Alvin finally gets to Lyle's house, the look on his face will bring tears to your eyes. but the real tear-jerking scene is when they are sitting on Lyle's porch, two brothers who haven't seen each other for years, both very old now. Lyle looks at the lawnmower, and says "Did you ride that thing all the way here to see me?". Alvin simply replies "I did, Lyle.", then Lyle's eyes start to fill with tears. What's even more emotional is that this was Richard Farnsworth's last movie before he died. He ended his career in the best scene of any movie he's ever done. That is one of the most beautiful scenes in movie history. Only movie that has EVER made me cry, EVER. I recommend it to everyone. David Lynch is a genius
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001)
Funniest Movie I've ever seen
This is by far the funniest movie I have ever seen. Kevin Smith is a comic genius! Almost every scene had me rolling on the floor laughing. My favorite scene is the Good Will Hunting 2 scene. When Ben affleck says "Applesauce, B****", I literally fell on the floor and tears ran down my face. I recommend this movie to anyone who can handle strong language and sexual content.
PS, if you can, check out the Clerks TV show. Funniest TV show in the world. Seriously. ABC were morons to cancel it.
