Wow!

It might be one of the best tv-series I have ever seen. Couldn´t stop binge-watching it! I LOVED it and I encourage everyone that has not yet seen it, do so. You don´t want to miss this one!!

Very poor ending!
17 April 2011
If this movie would have had another ending, it could easily have gotten a much higher vote from me. Being a movie I had not heard of before but just happened to stumble across, I had no expectations prior to watching it. And except for the last 10 minutes or so, it kept me focused and interested. I love this kind of plots, that includes riddles and clues which gives the person watching the movie, abit of a challenge. But unfortunately they didn't manage to make a good ending, that explained it all in a brilliant way, that made sense of the whole movie. Instead the ending destroyed the entire film. When they build up a plot, they've got to deliver an answer that's reasonable and explains everything that's happened up till that point. But when they fail to do so and just give us an ending with even more questions, it's very disappointing. I would like to advice the ppl responsible for this movie to remake the last 10 minutes and do it better this time.

Gia (1998 TV Movie)

The best of the best!
21 March 2011
On of my favourite movie of all time, if not THE favourite of them all. It has everything I like in a movie...A film based on true events, a fascinating person, drugs, sex, homosexuality, beauty, fashion...and death. If you don't know who Gia was before, I'm sure you will google her name afterwards. And if you're not intrigued by the person behind this film, then you're in a rare crowd. Angelina Jolie was probably the only one who could portray Gia cause no one else would have been believable since Gia was extraordinary beautiful (and so is Jolie). So that was a great choice of actress. I recommend everyone to see this movie!

Depressing

Warning: Spoilers
It's such a depressing movie. When I was finished watching my mood had changed. I felt down in every sense of the word. I had the exact same feeling when I had watched Citizen X. There's something so sad about Andrei Chikatilo combined with former Soviet Union I just wanna scream out in pure agony! It's not bad but if you've seen Citizen X (they are very alike) you don't need to see this, and if you want to stay in a happy mood you shouldn't either! But if you don't care about that, go ahead and watch. It's not a bad movie, it keeps you focused the whole time. But it's very disturbing. It's roles like this (Andreis) that can actually make you hate the actor behind it, because he did such a good job playing Andrei that I don't feel like seeing his face ever again! (It's a compliment but not necessarily a good thing)

Devil's Pond (2003)
Fooled

Warning: Spoilers
I watched this last night and it wasn't that bad. But it could have been better. In the beginning I thought they were trying to fool us, that the movie was gonna have a nice little twist in the end where we would see that she was the insane one all along and had imagined things about him. I was quite sure of this cause I thought she acted quite irrational. But as the movie went along I began to realise that this great thought of mine (!) was probably a mistake. And that was a disappointment. The movie would have been a little bit better if it turned out that she was the psychotic one. Despite my disappointment, I was surprised by this movie in a good way. I had never heard of it and expected it to be bad actually. I've seen so many lousy, unheard of movies lately that I've had to turn off...But this one I finished. It was a bit predictable at times, but most movies are anyway. I'll give it a 5 or a 6, at least.

The best movie I've ever seen!
12 March 2011
I have seen this movie plenty of times now, that's how much I love it. I rarely see the same movie twice since there are so many movies to see and so little time! But this movie is worth watching over and over again. When I saw it the first time I had no expectations, I don't even think I knew what the storyline was since I saw it by mere chance. And I was pleasantly surprised I must say. Thrillers/mystery/horror movies are my favourite genre but too many movies are ruined because they are too exaggerated and over the top. This one isn't. It has a great storyline and at least to me, it wasn't predictable. The villain is not who I thought it would be and the reason behind it is not something I would have guessed. I love that about movies. I rarely find movies scary but this is one of the few that gives me that eerie feeling. I love that!! Some scenes actually affected me so much that I find it somewhat unpleasant to look in the mirror in the bathroom if there's mist on it, to swim in lakes when I can't see what's beneath the surface etc.

The actors are good (ofcourse). Michelle Pfeiffer is one of my favourite actresses even from before this movie, not to mention how incredibly beautiful she is. It's a pure joy to watch the movie only so that you can watch her beautiful face! :)

I'll give this movie a 10 as it is my favourite movie alongside Seven and The Others.

Painful...
9 March 2011
Warning: Spoilers
OK...It was really hard for me to watch this movie because the main character was one of the most annoying actors I've ever seen in film. It was painful to watch him and to listen to him. It made the movie almost unbearable to watch. Even Chloe who I normally like, didn't do a very good job. It's not very believable for a teenage girl to react the way she did to finding out she's got a possibly deadly disease. She didn't seem at all upset, sad or shocked. Unlike what the taxi driver stated, she seemed very calm and cool about it. The story in itself is good but I don't like what they did with it. So I give this movie a 2 and that is me being nice...
